The most popular PSA solutions are the classic legacy software packages. Many of these solutions do provide strong functionality, but are expensive and require significant up-front, capital investment. These legacy solutions were designed in the pre-cloud era and often contain older code, configuration, customization, and remote access – meaning you are not getting the latest and greatest that technology can offer your firm. Integration of these systems is costly and complex, and ongoing support costs tend to run high, as well.

The market is trending toward “true cloud” solutions and cutting-edge firms are quickly adopting this approach. The term “true cloud” refers to modern PSA solutions architected ground-up for the cloud.
