The chec!3ups are conducted at the $nganwadicentre "$-C# This service covers ante3natal

care of e1pectant mothers and post3natal care

for nursing mothers

(nder ante3natal services, the beneficiaries are

entitled to three chec! ups, which include a

complete physical e1amination, and are

 provided with I4$ supplement tablets for )99

days Their records are maintained in /other3

Child cards and they are also given information

on diet, rest and other aspects regarding

 pregnancy

(nder post3natal services, nursing mothers are

visited twice by health staff within )9 days of
