We will work with 12 cognitive strategies readers need to develop, each linked to a practical, reading activity.

Teachers will create similar activities for their children. By doing this, teachers will show they understand each strategy, and can work with what research advocates.

Teachers will report back to their colleagues. The course is limited to two FP teachers per school – e.g. an

HOD and a teacher (+ 2 on standby)
