As the Chairman and CEO of Aequs Inc. Aravind has been working towards creating long term value through innovative strategies, making it his relentless, lifelong pursuit.

AAravind believes that modern manufacturing is driven by the two propelling forces of continuous innovation and uninhibited collaboration. In his tenure at Aequs, Aravind has built a global ecosystem that drives scale and eciency through organic growth and acquisitions. Aequs’ global reach moves beyond its facilities in Belagavi, India to operations in North America and Europe. In addition to these global holdings, Aequs has 3 joint venture partnerships with world class companies such as Aubert & Duval, Magellan Aerospace and Saab AB dedicated to forging, special prprocessing and assembly respectively.

With Aravind at the helm, Aequs has achieved many ‘firsts’ for India in the commercial aerospace sector including securing orders from global giants such as Airbus and Boeing. Aravind has also been instrumental in making Aequs the top Detailed Parts Partner (D2P) for Airbus and a main subcontractor for the French aerospace industry.

Aravind also serves on the board of a company he founded in 1997 called QuEST Global, an internationally recognized provider of outsourced engineering services. He is also the Chairperson of the ground-breaking toy cluster in Koppal under Government of Karnataka‘s Vision Group project.

AAravind holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He has been the recipient of the ‘Young Achiever Award’ by the Indo-American Community and ‘Super Entrepreneur 2019’ award by The Machinist (India) magazine.
