1904 - 1948• 1904 Founding of Kaiser & Co. by Walther Kaiser + Ernst Spelsberg

Company – History

• 1905 Start of production of insulating tube and accessories 

• 1926 Start of production of cast iron, moisture-proof boxes

• 1941 Formation of the focus on moisture-proof conduit boxes

• 1948 First participation at the industrial trade fair in Hanover  

1948 - 2001• 1956 Renamed as Günther Spelsberg KG after

the split from Kaiser

Company – History

• 1957 Continual expansion of the product range in the “surface-type installation” field

• 1991 New building of the branch factory in Buttstädt, Thuringia (50 employees, 6000m2, 2000 pallet stations, production of Red Range conduit boxes, cavity wall boxes and IBT concrete construction products)

• 1996 New building of the administration building and manufactured goods

warehouse in Schalksmühle  • 2001 Start of production with of WKE conduit boxes with E30 – E90 function

 

2003• 2003 Opening of the new production site in Schalksmühle after two years of construction
