Excel
• Using Access and Excel• To perform my duties
efficiently• To quickly understand how the
ASCI Senate functions.• To create a model that can
help future ASCI Secretaries perform efficiently.
MY DATABASE• A multifaceted database aimed at
making my duties less taxing.
ROLL CALL• It takes approximately
2 minutes to perform Roll Call.
• Attendance status is recorded via lookup fields.
• Data integrity enabled to keep the data consistent.
ORDERS/BILLS/RESOLUTIONS
• Each senator has to vote.• I record their individual
votes (Aye, Nae, Abstain)• I record unanimous votes
(Passed, Struck)• Votes are recorded via
lookup fields• Data integrity enabled to
keep the data consistent.
RELATIONSHIPS
• Several relationships due to the many lookup fields created.
QUERIES
• What is the attendance status of all Hayman senators during September?• Who are the Off-Campus senators with excused absences in
October?• Who are the Simplot senators present in October?
REPORTS

in the ASCI Senate.
MY SPREADSHEET• Focuses on the funds
requested from the senate orders recorded in my database.
• Shows how much the allocated funds affect the senate’s budget.
