Anatomical Pathology diagnosis: biopsy and autopsy. Clinical Pathology diagnosis: hematologic,

chemical and microbiological procedure. *Chief Medical Technologist:

>Qualifications: - Registered Medical Technologist

- Adequate training and experience

>Job Description:

-Chief technician for all areas (all around, knows everything)

-Arranges schedules, methodologist and maintenance

- Provides proper trainings for personnel

- Orders supply

*Pathologists Assistant obtains the information, important details that the pathologist needs.

>2 kinds of Pathologists Assistant: (not well known in the Philippines)

Histotechnologist Cytotechnologist >Assists in: - Surgical Pathology

- Autopsy Pathology

- Preparation and Performances of specimens

- Providing pertinent clinical information obtaining and submitting biological specimens

- Also performs administrative duties

- Post-mortem examination

- Obtaining proper legal authorization

- Patients medical history chart

- Medical Technologist

- Physical Qualifications

*Medical Technologist:

>Qualifications: - graduate of BMLS or Public Health

- Under University Accredited by CHED

- Complete specified training or internship in a laboratory accredited by

Bureau of health facilities and services under the Department of

Health.
