The modular carport system Park@Sol
New usable surfaces for collecting solar energy
At a time of climatic change and diminishing energy resources, the is-sue of energy balance is increasing in signifi cance for our modern companies. Rising fuel costs, compulsory envi-ronmental certifi cation and the desire to create a positive image with regard to the environment are major drivers in the construction of new buildings. Photovoltaic plants constructed on company roofs are therefore a welcome means of signifi cantly improving the energy balance of the building. But in many cases the roof surface areas are too small to achieve the desired yield or even to apply the concept of a building which is self-suffi cient in its generation of energy.
Solar-Carports provide an ideal sup-plement to the wide-area generation of photovoltaic energy. If the valid legal prerequisites are are met, maximum compensation for electricity fed into the grid can be achieved in Germany.
The Park@Sol system is an enhance-ment of the ever-evolving Schletter FS open-area mounting systems imple-mented in many projects throughout Germany, Europe and North America and which have already served to gen-erate several hundred MW of energy. Our experience is not only specifi c to the area of individual structural optimi-zation for the diversity of regional snow and wind conditions, but lies particularly in the fastening of all module types.
Our long-term experience as market leader in the fi eld of fastening technol-ogy secures your investment in the future!

Micro foundation Economic, elegant and safe
CarportMicro
Our carport systems are optimized in such a manner that the existing park-ing spaces are fully utilized while the largest possible roof surface areas are leveraged for a maximal energy yield. Of course, construction on large sur-face areas requires very heavy founda-tions. Many parking lots are not able to accommodate such a large volume of foundation material however, due to their size.
4
1 Drilling of the hole using cross-cut drill bit
2 The injection of cement mortar creates root piles and increases the structural safety of the foundation
5 Mounting of the support construction
3 Drilling and lling of the second foundation
4 Installation of the impact protection
6 Completion of the supporting structure
55
The new foundation system CarportMicro utilizes small pre-cast concrete parts that offer adequate impact protec-tion, require only minimum reconstruc-tion work on the ground surface and do not limit the utilization of the parking lots.
For large carport plants in particular this combination is both an economi-cally optimized and a visually attractive foundation system with a very high level of structural safety on almost any type of subsoil.
You can fi nd further video documenta-tion relating to our micro-foundations and to the construction of our carports on our homepage at www.schletter.eu.

We would like to to share our experience
At our company premises in Kirchdorf we have implemented our own new solar carport system, covering a total of 260 parking spaces.
Within only 3 weeks we were able to enhance our current output gained from the existing roof plant by a further 500 kW, without interrupting our operations.
Not only did we gain experience through the construction of this plant, but we are now able to present all our carport design options fi rst hand when you visit us, including the charging pil-lars from our original presentation.
Please visit us!
You may also be interested to know that, here at our location in Kirchdorf, we now produce approx. 70% of all energy required to run our production plant from our PV roof plants and car-ports.− environmentally friendly and CO2 - neutral.
