ood security is an important aspect of development. Hon. Kaloki recognizes that perennial drought continues to threaten humanity in our country. Our area has for an extended period of time been experiencing drought thus famine has adversely affected close to eighty 80 percent of our people. FThrough the Ministry of Special Programmes, Hon. Kaloki has regularly managed to secure ration for our

people which has effectively been distributed by the Red Cross (K) courtesy of our District Offices logistical support. Relief notwithstanding, the MP has been able to secure plenty of planting seeds from the Ministry of Agriculture for our people and through other organizations and institutions such as KARI and Equity Bank, he has been able to distribute many varieties of seeds to our local farmers.
