I have figured that my total startup costs will be around $32,000This will handle everything mentioned in this presentation and leave a little extra if needed.

To keep CandyB Productions running for three years, I have calculatedAn estimate working capital of $27,000. This total includes rent, utilitiesand extra amenities if something should fail and have to be fixed or replaced.

Crowd Funding

I have recently started looking into crowd funding options. It seems that everyoneHas a Gofundme for just about anything. Gofundme is pretty organized with how you can choose to give your money. I also like the reliability of the site and howmuch traffic it regularly gets.

The downside to using this is that it IS so popular, and so many people use it, it would be easy to get lost in the mix of things. It takes quite a bit of time to promoteyour fund account so that it gets seen by people, that it’s taking away time from trying to promote my company.

Loans

While it is a small amount, I can get a personal loan from my bank for $3,000. It would help in the equipment part of my business adventure, allowing me to instantly get what I need to get started. I won’t have to wait to raise the money, which means I can get started right away.

The only downfall I see in this is that it is setting me back money. I now have an added expense and I OWE someone money now. Instantly getting what I need for my business is great, but having an extra bill I didn’t have before isn’t.

Extra revenue

This would honestly by my last option. I was thinking of possibly using my husbandsExtra income as funding for my business. His income is usually put away into an account for vacations or just for savings. By using this money, it’s not taking awayfrom any important expenses that I have and isn’t setting me back any. I will knowhow much I have and will know when I have it every month.

The only downfall I see to this is that we won’t have the vacation money which meanscutting back on spending, and we won’t have the extra stash of cash in case somethingshould arise.

MY CONCLU

SION

In doing this research and figuring out where and how to get the money, I have decided that maybe trying crowd funding and seeing where that takes me, could be a great option. I still have some time before I could start my production company. Doing this also gives me free advertisement, and helps build my brand.

I know that I may not raise all of the money I need, but it would be a start and take some of the pressure off.
