The standard pro gramme includes mammary, facial, pectoral, gluteal, testicular and calf implants as well as a wide choice of expanders. Custom-made implants complement this ample portfolio.Devices and instruments for liposuction, pigmentation and derm abrasion plus compression bustiers and products for scar treatment complete a product range specialised in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

POLYTECH Health & Aesthetics GmbH makes silicone-gel filled mammary implants their priority as these have been proven to be the optimum soft-tissue replacement.POLYTECH Health & Aesthetics standard products are Microthane® (micropoly urethane foam)-coated implants and implants with the POLYtxt® textured shell. Medical studies have given evidence that implants coated with micro polyurethane foam show a reduced tendency to cause capsular contracture. The particularly high efficiency of the micropolyurethane surface has been documented in numerous medical studies and publications.

POLYTECH Health & Aesthetics GmbH has applied and certified a quality management system based on the standards EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 13485 since 1995. Regarding raw material selection, product development, manufacturing, sterilisation, quality control, storage, sales and customer service, all specifications exacted from a certified company are met and continually verified.All our products feature the mark. The POLYTECH Health & Aesthetics Diagon\Gel® 4Two implants are filled with two highly cross-linked, cohesive, formstable clear gels: the softer EasyFit Gel at the back and the firmer Shapar Gel at the front.

The softer gel at the back of the implant ensures that the implant molds smoothly to the rib cage and provides for a natural movement of the breast. The firmer gel at the front and the dome-shaped projection facilitate nipple positioning and support the residual breast tissue in push-up style.

Breast Implantswith Microthane® coating

The most common complication of breast-implant surgery is capsular contracture. Implants coated with Microthane® (micropolyurethane foam) have been developed to minimize the capsular contracture rate, as well reduce implant disloca-tion and rotation.

In extensive clinical studies over the past twenty years revie-wing large numbers of patients, the capsular contracture rates (Baker classification III–IV) have been determined.

The capsular contracture rate for Microthane®-coated implants in virgin tissue is 0–9 % compared to 9–50 % for other implants. In most of the large studies, the capsular con-tracture rate for Microthane®-coated implants is as low as 0–3 % (Handel, 1991; Pennisi, 1990; Shapiro, 1989;Hester et al., 2001; Baudelot, 1989; Gasperoni, 1992; Hermann, 1984; Eyssen, 1984; Schatten, 1984; Artz, 1988; Vázquez, 2007).

The POLYTECH Health & Aesthetics Diagon\Gel® 4Two implants are filled with two highly cross-linked, cohesive, formstable clear gels: the softer EasyFit Gel at the back and the firmer Shapar Gel at the front.

The softer gel at the back of the implant ensures that the implant molds smoothly to the rib cage and provides for a natural movement of the breast. The firmer gel at the front and the dome-shaped projection facilitate nipple positioning and support the residual breast tissue in push-up style.
