FiT4 Right Size™ NOTE: The following Right Sizing training can be sold separately or together. It is highly recommended they be performed consecutively in a three (3) day period.

Right Size Project Management™ (RSPM™) Duration: ½ Day

Course Description: This is an introduction course to learn the foundational concepts of “right sizing” a portfolio, program or project. Learn what to assess to understand the size and complexity of your PMO and projects, and then when/how to apply them. Learn how to simplify and remove overworked procedures and templates. This generic course is based on an IT environment, and is more effective in large organizations with customization to standardize the “right sizing” process and ½ day training.

Essential Project Management Framework™ (EPMF™) Duration: 2 Days

Course Description: This 2 day course walks students through a simplified process utilizing a framework of establishing, planning, managing and finishing a project for predictive and/or adaptive methods. This course can increase the accuracy and speed of planning and delivery of success projects.

Project Simulation Training (Scenario and Application Based Simulation) Duration: ½ Day Min 10 – Max 25

Course Description: This training is delivered scenario-based training via a board game, which enables teams to apply their new process based on a project case study using Essential Project Management Framework™ (EPMF) templates. They will encounter risks and status cards requiring them to make decisions as a team. It includes role-playing, hidden agenda’s, an assessment of the outcome and a debrief of the lessons learned.

Certification Classes DISC Certification Training Duration: 1-2 Days

Course Description: DISC is a model of human behavior that helps people understand why you do what you do, and others do what they do, and brings it together to build a cohesive team and get the best out of everyone. The human behavior dimensions defined as Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Compliance, enables a team to learn how to recognize and interact with other personality factors . This training will help you know how to enhance personal and organizational results.

Course Description: Objectives include: overview of Six Sigma, understanding fundamentals of lean, the dimensions of quality, how poor quality affects operations, using techniques such as DMAIC, determining root causes of a problem and how to prevent a problem from reoccurring.

Lean Fundamentals* Duration: 4 Days

Course Description: Lean is a systematic approach to identifying and eliminating the eight wastes - considered non-value-adding activities-through continuous improvement by flowing the product completely at the pull of the customer. The eight wastes are: waiting, defects, extra processing, inventory, excessive motion, transportation, over production, and underutilized employees.

Myers Briggs Type Inventory® Duration: ½ Day

Course Description: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a self-reporting questionnaire designed to make Jung’s series of psychological types understandable and useful in everyday life. As a qualified administrator and interpreter of the MBTI Inventory®, FiT4 facilitates in identifying differences among people – differences that can cause misunderstanding and miscommunication. The inventory reveals individual styles and provides guidelines in understanding the helpful ways that people differ from one another.

PMP® & CAPM® Prep Class* Duration: 5 Days

Course Description: In this course, you’ll gain the essential preparation needed to pass the PMP® and CAPM® exams. Concentrating on exam content from A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)—Fifth Edition and other sources, this course includes a wide variety of learning tools and study aids, all using PMI® terminology. Learning activities in this Boot Camp target each of the three major learning styles: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic.

Review Course for PMP® & CAPM® Duration: 1 Day

Course Description: The course is designed for candidates who are ready for the PMI® exam and desire one more day to review the forty-seven (47) processes. It covers a single definition, key inputs, tools and techniques, and outputs for each process and the role delineations for the current PMI® exam.

Six Sigma Green Belt* Duration: 6 Days

Course Description: Six Sigma Green Belt is two weeks of training for process improvement leaders. The focus of the projects, at this level of proficiency, is typically on stabilizing the process – getting rid of the firefighting mentality, and having consistent performance. Note that this may not be optimal performance, but significantly reduced volatility.

Six Sigma Black Belt* Duration: 8 Days

Course Description: Black Belt is an extension of the Green Belt skill set. The topics presented are to extend the breadth and depth of methods across the various phases of the roadmap. Six Sigma Black Belt is 8 days of training for advanced process improvement leaders. This is a two-week program with a one-month break between the two weeks. The focus of the projects, at this level of proficiency, is typically on optimizing the process-establishing the best settings to maximize and provide predictable process performance.

Six Sigma Master Black Belt* Duration: 9 Days

Course Description: This two-week Six Sigma Master Black Belt training provides the training necessary to be a Six Sigma leader within any organization. The program goes beyond traditional Black Belt skills and incorporates new tools regarding the study of variation, nonparametric analysis, destructive testing, practical experimentation, handling attribute responses (above and beyond Freeman-Tukey), optimization experiments, advanced regression methods, handling multi-response experiments, distributional analysis, and advanced SPC methods.

Intermediate Contract Management Principles & Practices* Duration: 4 Days

Course Description: In this course, you will learn how to manage all aspects of project procurement effectively. You will discover the logic behind contracting principles and practices, and you’ll learn the terms, techniques, and tools of converting project needs into outsourced goods and services. Exercises include the development of a procurement strategy, contract selection, revising and updating SOWs, risk management, negotiating claims settlement, and collection of lessons learned.

Effective Business Cases* Duration: 3 Days

Course Description: Developing a strong business case is essential to persuading your project sponsors to invest time and resources. In this course, you’ll learn the most common disciplines and methodologies used to create and present a business case with clear, concise, and fact-based arguments that highlight project benefits, costs, and risks to win approval for projects. You’ll learn basic techniques for determining financial ROI, non-tangible benefits, and the probability of meeting expectations.

Effective Management in the Matrix Organization* Duration: 1 Day

Course Description: Learn to lead cross-functional teams effectively. This one-day workshop introduces matrix-management concepts coupled with team exercises that allow you to immediately put into practice what you learn. Establishing and Managing the PMO* Duration: 4 Days

Course Description: Create an organization to make your project portfolio efficient and effective. In this course, you will gain the relevant knowledge and skills to establish, operate, and improve a project management office (PMO) and to work with PMO staff in a way that maximizes the value projects produce for your organization. Course Description: Manage your project’s schedule and budget using an integrated approach to planning and performance analysis. You will be introduced to analytical techniques, including creation of a work breakdown structure, network diagramming, dependency analysis, critical path determination, three-point estimating, and assessment of resource needs and availability. Crisis Management Assessment Tools Duration: 1-2 Days

Course Description: The objective of this course is to provide tools to elegantly and professionally respond to customer critical situations, reduce the negative impact to customer relationships, and to anticipate and prevent situations before they become catastrophic. Stakeholder management tools, conflict resolution techniques, meeting tips, negotiation and troubleshooting tools are used in hands on exercises.

TAP – Trainer’s Assessment of Proficiency Duration: ½ Day

Course Description: TAP was created to establish standards for classroom performance. It measures an instructor’s relative strengths on key skills, generating a Proficiency Profile that pinpoints developmental needs and defines the competencies critical to the effective delivery of training. Microsoft Project Software Training

Duration: 1 Day Course Description: The training is offered by one of the few ‘Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP)” instructors for versions 2010 or 2013. The course covers scheduling best practices, linking task relationships, modifying deadlines, adjusting resource allocations, tracking against baselines, and choosing the right report format based on your audience.

Microsoft Project Server Administrator (2010 & 2013)*
