What I did on the Previous Slide

• I created a blank PhotoShop document, the size of an A3 piece of paper. I did this because that is how big a Double Page Spread is.

What I did in the Previous Slide

• I selected an image to use for my Double Page Spread and selected which part of it I wanted to keep. I did this with the Rectangular Marquee tool.

What I did in the Previous Two Slides

• Using the crop tool, I cropped it to the area that I wanted to keep.

What I did in the previous slide

• I lowered the saturation of the image using the saturation tool so that the image became black and white.

• Using the Brightness and Contrast tool I then increased the Brightness and the Contrast.

• I did these things because my DPS needs to link in with the media products previously made.

What I did in the Previous Slide

• In the previous slide I copied and pasted the photo onto the left half of the Double Page Spread. I then flipped it using the flip horizontal tool to make it look like she was looking into the article. This would entice the readers to read the article.

What I did in the Previous Slide

• I made the background a low tone of pink to show the feminine side to the singer. This tone was added onto the background.

• Then, using the text tool I put in a large ‘S’. This is because I called my singer The Sorrow and therefore the S represents that.

What I did in the previous Slide

Using the text tool I added in the article text. I did this because every double page spread has text, so having text on mine makes my double page spread look more realistic and more professional. I have put the text in columns, included a pull quote and set the font sizes to what they currently are for the same reason.
