Farewell my family, don©t weep, For I am at peace now, I am just asleep.

Farewell my family, I am not alone,The Lord our God has led me safely home.

Think about the many years holding back the tears.

Yet God, somehow, always makes a way, And we thank Him every night, for another day.

Be good my family, always love each other,Be thoughtful loved ones.

Be strong my family, strong in heart, The blood ties, no one can ever part.

Farewell my family, life©s been called away, Walk with God my dear ones, trust in Him each day.

To Friends and Family

Don©t spend too much time in mourning,Tears are for the sad,I left to be with Jesus

And this should make you glad.

Don©t waste hours in grieving; No need to feel distress.

I©m tired of life©s frustrationsAnd had to get some rest.

Don©t vex yourself with questions,Or try to reason why.

Life here for me has ended,It came my time to die.

Don©t lose the love I gave you.Feed it with your care.Grow it with devotion,

And spread it everywhere.

Don©t fret because my leaving,Came in such a way.

We©ll have another meetingIn God©s eternal day.

Love Always,

Mrs. Annie Ruth Hamm Almond was born June 9, 1950 to Mr. S. A. Hamm (deceased) and Mrs. Baby Ruth Hamm. Mrs. Almond dedicated her life to her family, friends and church.

She was an / avid reader of the Bible and enjoyed many discussions of the Scriptures. Her favorite passage was the 23rd Psalm. Among her -.. favorite songs was "Amazing Grace," "What a Friend We Have in Jesus," and "Pass Me Not Oh Gentle Savior." n

Mrs. Almond was a very diligent worker for many years. She worked approximately 26 years for Allied-Signal Friction f Materials (Prestolite) before retiring.

/ ask myself why did you have to leave me this soon, but only God knows why. My granny can be defined in so many different ways. Some of them are: a faith ful Wife, a loving Mother, a caring Grandmother, and also a warrior for her family. One of my granny©s favorite readings was "The Serenity Prayer." That©s how I deal with the fact that the Lord has invited her into the Kingdom of Heaven to be with Him because I accepted that things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and I have the wisdom to know the differ ence. Who would have thought that last time I would have talked with my granny was just a few days ago, but through the pain-, heartache, and suffering I just know that she is happily looking down from heaven right now and that is that greatest thing that I could have ever wanted for my granny. What makes me cheerful is to know that she is in a better place and doesn©t have to experi ence the pain and agony anymore. A few other ways that I can describe my granny: she was determined, caring, trustworthy, and loving. Out of all the things I have seen my grandmother do in my lifetime the greatest one of them all is that she grew a fonder relationship with God. Although, this time may seem difficult for my family, and me we have had great times together with my granny from the holiday gatherings to the wonderful conversations that we have shared. I will cherish all the memories of my granny. I love her so much and even though it hurts to let her go, I know that God loved her more. I will love you forever and always Granny.

Your loving Grandson, Daltavion Almond
