Pro-Tec Plus is the environmentally responsible solution to help fight a

winter storm before it arrives. When applied to sidewalks, steps, ramps

and traffic areas before a storm, its formulated blend of sodium, calcium

and potassium chlorides will prevent the bonding of snow and ice to the

surface. Pro-Tec Plus also has corrosion inhibitors that prevent spalling

on concrete and blacktop surfaces. Pro-Tec Plus performs even under

extremely dry conditions and temperatures as low as -60°F. It is

ready-to-use; do not mix with water. Pro-Tec Plus is non-flammable, non-

corrosive and is a blue/green color so you can tell where it has been applied.

FOR USE ON: Concrete, Brick, Sidewalks, Steps, Decks, Driveways, Parking Lots, Streets, Bridges, Inclines, Highways and Ramps.

DIRECTIONS: Using a pump sprayer or other means, apply the Pro-Tec Plus making sure to spray area until wet, avoiding excess run off. Application rates will vary based on sprayer, nozzle and actual weather conditions. Apply 1–2 hours prior to snowfall. It will provide residual activity for up to 48 hours before a storm arrives. One gallon will cover up to 800 sq. ft.

PRECAUTIONS AND SUGGESTIONS: As with all deicers, use only on properly placed and cured concrete. Do not use on porous or improperly cured concrete or concrete less than one year old. The cycle of freezing and thawing by natural weather elements can cause damage to concrete. The use of an ice melt increases these cycles and are factors over which we have no control. Use of deicers on porous brick, mortar joints, fl agstone and pre-cast or pre-stressed concrete is not recommended. All deicers can be harmful when applied directly to trees, shrubs, fl ower beds or grass. Remove any melted ice, snow and slush from vegetation area. Ice melting agents that are applied at much greater rates than recommended may interfere with tracking or footing, and may cause tracking indoors. Use of this ice melter is at the consumer’s risk.
