Occupy Central

“What was the event?” and “How do I know what happened?”

What happened in this Event? How do I know what

happened?-was formed because government didn’t let HK citizens choose who was going

to be elected for President - Some students then formed Occupy Central to make the government let

citizens be able to vote - They then ‘occupied Central’ by camping in tents on the road in Central - The police tried to get rid of them by spraying tear gas into the crowd,

charging at the protestors and using pepper spray - The crowd used umbrellas to block most of it and soon the whole thing

became a major fight that was broadcasted live on TV - I know what happened because I watched the news on TV and it

broadcasted most of it live, I read a website that talked about what happened and I went to the protest site and took some pictures

9/11 attack

“What was the event?” and “How do I know what happened?”

What happened in this Event? How do I know what

happened?-A terrorist group called al-Qaeda hijacked a plane and crashed it into

one of the towers in the World Trade Centre in New York and the tower went on fire and lots of people died

-Another plane was also hijacked by the same group and was crashed into the second tower

- Then another plane was hijacked and crashed into the Pentagon - Another plane was also hijacked but it crashed into this field somewhere - At the end the entire World Trade Centre was destroyed. - I know this because in grade 3-4 we had a history unit and a teacher in

the school who had witnessed the event told me all about it.
