• Look at the events and think what happened

• Choose 3-4 pictures and write about your interpretation and understanding of the event

• Ask yourself “What was the event?” and “How do I know what happened?” “Are there different accounts?”

• Delete any of the slides that you do not use and post on your blog by converting it into a pdf and then uploading to ISSU.

What happened in this Event? How do I know what

happened?During the British to Chinese handover in 1997 the

Chinese promised that in 2017 Hong kong would have full Rights to vote. In August 2014, the Chinese said that hong kong could vote but the Chinese will allocate who HK can vote for. After the announcement some of the

students from hong kong university wanted hong kong to be able to allocate there own people for priminister they

formed a peaceful protest outside the government building.After only 1 day the police attacked them with

tear gas which made protesters angry.I found this information in newspapers books and

television programs
