With this advert you are able to see that the whole bases of this advert is based around the whole idea of the instruments. Also it has the name of the album in the centre so it is easy to see. As well as this it will allow us to see when the album is out. As well as this the advert is a whole page because it wants to stand out from the rest of the information in the magazine. Also because of the font and images of the advert you can see that it is suitable of the genre as it shows of the images that you will use within the music.

Images

With the images on the poster you can see that all they have is the instruments that are included in the music. This is a good way to try and let the audience know what music you play without showing them a video. The images are all black and white on a red background to try and stand out.

Font and layout

The font of the poster is very bold to try and stand out from the surrounding area. It contributes to the star image because it allows you to identify instantly who the band is straight away.

Target audience

With the target audience this appeals to them because of the use of the images on the bold writing connotes the genre of the music as it is bold and a bit different.

Print work

From this advert you can see that it is very different from the other and this is because it is all in black and white. This is good for the genre as it is the sort of alternate feel to the advert. The advert is a double page advert to try and stand out when it is in the magazine this is because it has big writhing and a massive picture. This appeals to the audience as well because it allows you to clearly see all the information you need on the page. As it mentions that the album is already out now.

Images

There is only one image on the advert but this is very powerful as it is in black and white and shows sort of isolation with the two angels. This is very good as the target audience could feel segregated from the rest.

Font and layout

With the advert you can see that when you first see it you get the image. Then you see the writing about what it is. This is good as it allows you to feel a sense of realism with the advert. The font of the advert is very bold and italic which is to sort of connote a bit of difference with the band and their new album.

Detail

With the detail on the advert you can see that they don’t include any reviews on the poster but they do say that it is there new single. This is redundant as it allows the target audience to see when they can get the album.

Target audience

The target audience will see this poster and not see anything about star image and this may be bad for them as they may want to relate to the band. As well as this it is very redundant with the information it includes if they wanted to stand out they could have had like reviews on the advert as well to stand out with the audience.
