JCM VEGA & VEGA RCVega is the next generation of bill acceptors. Vega

features an optional Bill Recycler which will payout up to

30 notes to customers using banknotes as opposed to

the traditional coin payout method.

The Vega recycler can be conveniently mounted on topof the acceptor, and benefits both operators and usersalike in terms of cost and convenience.

JCM VEGA TWINThe latest addition to the Vega family of products. Vega

Twin enables the recycling of two banknote

denominations. The Vega Twin has an instant attraction

to existing Vega RC users, as the Twin Note Recycler Unit

will retrofit to the jCm Vega head, requiring only a simple

firmware upgrade.

It has the ability to hold and recycle two banknotes, with

a capacity of 30 bills in each denomination.

The Vega Twin RC model is 20mm taller than the original

Vega RC, so that upgrading machine cabinets to the dual

note functionality should not present any problems to

existing Vega users.

The Twin RC unit offers a number of technical and

security enhancements that make the note validation

and repayment process fast and efficient.

JCM BILL ACCEPTORS END-Of-LIfE NOTIfICATIONfOR WBA, EBA 2x AND 3x

jCm have given notice that the WBA, EBA 2x and EBA 3x

series are now all in end-of-life status, meaning that

device production and on-going software support have

now been withdrawn.

Eurocoin are able to continue to provide some essential

spare parts for these units at this time, but stocks are in

decline. WBA, EBA 2x and EBA 3x device users, therefore,

should now work with the Eurocoin Customer Service

team to migrate their machines and kiosks over to the

designated replacement jCm devices, as summarised

below:

JCM WBA - Clients should upgrade to UBA, iPRO or

iVIZION

JCM 2x - Clients should upgrade to EBA 4x series

JCM 3x - Will go end-of-life on 31.12.16. Customers

should start to migrate to EBA 4x series

JCM ICBThe Intelligent Cashbox system (ICB) is a superb

accounting tool from jCm, allowing clients to read and

record every bank note denomination in the note

acceptor stacker without opening the device. It is high

speed, low cost, and provides excellent security and

efficiency for venues large or small.

The jCm ICB system consists of a read/write tool, a

software programme and an optional receipt printer.

Any jCm stacker with the correct memory module fitted

may be inserted into the read/write tool, and have each

banknote and ticket read in seconds. The detailed result

is then recorded in the software and an optional receipt

can be printed for use in banking or accounting

procedures. All data is automatically recorded against

the correct machine serial number, and is easily

extracted to an Excel spreadsheet.

ICB eliminates the possibility of human error during the

cash collection and count processes, as all necessary

information is stored in the cashbox memory rather than

manually recorded.

Independent data is supplied directly from the bill

validator, and the ICB is password protected, ensuring

complete security of records.

MERKUR DISPENSERThe merkur Dispenser 100 is a highly reliable and securenote validator and payout device, capable of acceptingall European currencies.

It features a unique and patented vault area, where 3separate storage drums hold banknotes waiting to bepaid out. Priority banknote values or combinations forpayouts can be assigned. The dispenser can return up to100 notes of 3 denominations.

If a storage drum reaches maximum capacity, thedispenser cleverly routes additional inserted bank notesto the stacker. All banknote denominations which havenot been selected for repayment are likewise depositedin the stacker. The unit has a cashier function that willautomatically transfer all notes from the dispenser to thecashbox for easy reconciliation.

Patented encrypted communications between thedevice components ensures maximum security. The jCmbill validator head, stacker, and vault all have their ownindependent locking mechanisms, and banknotes arevalidated on both insertion and payout.

The dispenser records its own statistics on the contentof the three banknote drums; this data is fully protectedwhen the unit is disconnected from the mains power andcan be transferred automatically to the host machine ordevice.
