A special thank you to Mrs. Coe for providing this amazing opportunity to our students. American Young Voices Save the Date - 5th Grade Award Ceremony The Walnut Street 5th Grade Award Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 19th beginning at 9:30 a.m. Please know that we will provide two tickets per fifth-grade family. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the main office at 732-505-5900. Math League The Walnut Street, Fifth Grade Math League Team, finished first in Ocean County!! The GREAT Program On Thursday, June 6, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer, attended the G.R.E.A.T graduation at Walnut Street Elementary. The G.R.E.A.T program is taught by law enforcement and emphasizes non-violent conflict resolution and positive decision-making skills. Walnut Street G.R.E.A.T. instructors were Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Sgt. Renee Nauyoks, Detectives Thomas Scalzullo, and Taryn Schwartz, Toms River Township Police Officers Pam Slaven and Ron Bayer and Ocean County Sheriff’s Officers William Zyckowski and Joseph Kirby. A truly GREAT program for kids. Congratulations to all of our fifth-grade graduates!
