Every verb has four principal parts:1. base form (present tense)2. present participle (is/are + -ing verb)3. past (past tense)4. past participle (has/have/had + past participle)

Two Kinds of Verbs: Regular and Irregular

Regular Verbs: form past tense and past participle by adding –d or –ed to the base form; Spelling changes are needed in some verbs.
