What another AWESOME week here at Broken Hill Public as we continue to inspire,

show integrity and inclusion for all.

This is the last week of Term 2 and what a term it has been. A very big thank you to

everyone’s support as we have manoeuvred though many changes due to COVID

19. We look forward to getting back to more ‘normality’ next term. Term 3 will start

on Tuesday 21st July for all students.

Newsletter on Dojo

If you have been a regular viewer of Class Dojo you may have seen a video from

our School Captains. Each week, with the assistance of Ms Northey, the School

Captains are presenting a video of the School Newsletter where they read out the

various news items and upcoming information. This will be uploaded to Class Dojo

each Wednesday.

Reports

In line with advice from the NSW Department of Education, our school reports for

Term 1 and 2, 2020 have been adjusted to cater for students learning from school

and home.

Teachers will be preparing half yearly reports over the coming weeks and

conducting parent/carer meetings during Week 3 of next term where reports will

be handed out.

Please be aware that all students may not have covered the same syllabus

outcomes or content during this period. This report will not grade student

achievement using the A-E scale for all outcomes. The teacher’s comments will

focus on English and Mathematics as well as learning that students have

undertaken in other Key Learning Areas. This report will also provide information

about attendance, their commitment to learning and identify the next steps in

learning.
