- KENYA - DOUG & MARGE PRIEST P.O. Box 21604 Nairobi, Kenya AFRICA April, 1987 WHAT CAN WE SAY? Have you ever felt the inadequacy of words? Have you ever felt that no matter what you said, it just wasn't enough to fully express the way you feel? Well, that's how I'm feeling today. Marge and I are currently in the middle of a thousand details as we prepare to return to Kenya, on May 12. But even as we are involved in these details we are very conscious of the year we have spent here in the States. And, as we look back over this last year of furlough, our hearts are touched by the many remembrances of kindnesses to us. We aXQ, ujond^A^ing: just how do we go about thanking everyone for the gracious way we have been received into their homes? And how can I fully express my feeling for the dear little lady who handed me three dollars at the door following morning worship with the words, "I uU^h it coiiM bt moA.e, bat I onZy havz my SocUal SojiLuUtj^ to iivt on now." How do we tM, people that if it wasn't for their prayers we would never have made it overseas these past twenty years? Do our friends, and families, and supporters really know how much their words of encouragement, their letters and cards, and their smiles really mean to us? And, what about the staff and other personnel back in our Christian Missionary Fellowship office in Indianapolis: Do they know that we really appreciate all they do? Are they aware that we know of their sacrificial dedication to their work? Do our Board members know that we are grateful for their wisdom, their vision, and the time they give? Do you see what I mean now? We have so many to whom we owe so much. We have been strengthened, supported, edified, and encouraged by so many that we don't know where to begin to say 'thank you.' Marge and I are currently in the middle of a thousand details as weprepare to return to Kenya, on May 12.
