LUMEL’s HISTORY

7th November 1953 – company was founded

1954 - the first analog meter was produced

1957 - start of production based upon gravity and investment casting.

1962 - the millionth analogue panel meter was produced

1965 - the first recorder was produced

1969 - the first digital meter, transducer and controller were produced

1995 - LUMEL received the ISO 9001 Quality Certificate

2003 - LUMEL received the ISO 14001 Certificate

2009 - relocation to the new plant

2010 - LUMEL received the ISO/TS 16494 Certificate

2011 - end of privatisation process. LUMEL has become the member of the RISHABH GROUP

HIGH PRESSURE DIE-CASTINGS

Moulds are designed on the basis of drawings and 3D documentation received

from our customers.

Using of various CAD/CAM software (e.g: SolidWorks, EdgeCAM, AlphaCAM).

Using of Flow 3D software to simulate filling mould by liquid alloy.

Designing of other tools (e.g: trimming tools or CNC fixtures)

All works connected with execution of moulds and tools are carried out in our own

tool shop.

We use electro-erosion machines: Deckel DE 20, Accutex JMNC40 and electro-erosion

wire machine Mitsubishi FX 10.

Foundry specializes in production of pressure die-castings parts from aluminium alloys

EN AC-47000, EN AC-46000, EN AC-46100, EN AC-44200, EN AC-43400 and AlSi9Mn

Cold chamber machines with closing force from 150 to 840 tones.

Ability to make castings up to 4 kg weight

To ensure the highest quality of our castings, we use:

Spectrometer Foundry Master (Worldwide Analytical Systems AG) for qualitative

and quantitative element analysis of metallic samples,

FDU Rotostative (Foseco) for purification of molten aluminum alloys,

X-Ray inspection cabin (YXLON International).

HIGH PRESSURE DIE-CASTINGS - pressure die-casting

Our machine park consists of more than 40 CNC machines.

We operate on milling CNC machines like: MORI SEIKI, DMG, BROTHER, STAMA

and lathe CNC machines like: INDEX, MAZAK.

Maximal diameter of turned parts by using bar feeder is Ø 77 mm, however

maximal diameter of turned parts by using fixture is Ø280 mm.

Washing of the parts in automatic lines

Preparing the surface before varnishing by chromate coating or polymer coating

(without chromium VI)

Powder coating by polyester varnish, which is resistant to water and UV rays

Coating by epoxy and varnishes

Printing of logos by silkscreen technology
