CHECK-IN IN AIRPORT OF DEPARTURE

DO NOT FORGET YOUR PASSPORT, TICKET, VOUCHER, AND

INSURANCE POLICY. We earnestly ask you to arrive to the airport

ON ARRIVAL TO TURKEY

Ukrainian citizens must get a visa beore passing the passport

control. Visa costs $30 U.S. You can get visa in special wicket

at Istanbul airport, where a special mark will be tipped-in in

your passport. Ater passing the passport control you will see aconveying machine or luggage. Ater luggage claim go to the exit

to waiting room. On the let, near AVEA stand, you will be met by a

guide with UPJET sign plate, as it is shown on the scheme below. In

TRANSFER INFORMATION

On the road rom airport to hotel, a guide will inorm you about

time o return transer and also will give you all necessary

inormation. Waiting period or group transer 1 hour 10 minutes

ater landing, or individual transer 1 hour 30 minutes ater

landing. Group transer is carried out by bus, check-in priority athotels determined by their location. Individual transer is carried

out without turning to other hotels.

ON ARRIVAL TO A HOTEL

You have to ill up the registration card or hotel check-in. I it is

necessary address to the companys representative. Some hotel

have the right to keep your passport at reception. In such case

it is better to have a copy o your passport and hotels business

card. Use sae-box or keeping your values (this service has anadditional charge in some hotels). Other additional services are

also chargeable (mini bar, room service, etc.). Check-in time: 14:00.

EXCURSIONS

Tourists, whose tour package includes excursion programs, and

tourists, who bought excursions on the spot, must wait at hotels

lobby at the appointed time. Guide or companys representative

will come to your hotel and announce at lobby that UPJET tourists

are invited on excursion. We pay your attention to the act that a

bus is driving through some hotels, so 20 minutes delay is possible.

HOTEL CHECK-OUT DAY

Hotel check-out time noon

In hotel check-out day, beore bus arrival, you have to pay or

additional services, which were not included into accommodation

price and then wait or transer at hotels lobby at the appointed

time.

10-15 minutes bus delay is possible or a group transer. I it takes

more than 15 minutes please address to the UPJET companysrepresentatives by phone: + 90 533 956 99 72.

Security control is held in the irst place ater arrival to airport.

Then go to check-in desk, where number o your light is shown

on display, register your luggage and get your plane ticket, the

passport control is next.

Ater passing the passport control, according to signs in departure

zone go to the exit pointed in your ticket. Exit number can be

changed ater passing check-in and passport control. Please listen

or the operator announcements careully.

TIME ZONE

The whole territory o Turkey is in one time zone GMT +02:00. Dierence

with Moscow time is minus 1 hour at summer. Dierence with Moscow

time is minus 2 hour at winter. Kiev time zone is the same as in Turkey.

MONEY

The currency unit in Turkey is Turkish lyres. You can exchange cash in

banks, exchange oces and at hotels reception.

CUSTOM CONTROL

You can bring to Turkey 2 l of wine, 1-1,5 l of alcoholic beverages, 200

cigarette or 50 cigars without paying custom duties. It is forbidden to

bring in all kinds o drugs, obscene literature, and obscene pictures.

RULES OF CONDACT

Turkey is living in a secular laws but the majority o people are religious.

Do not drink alcoholic beverages in the streets, speak loudly at mosque

or show your neglect behavior to the religion. Do not take pictures o

people without their permission, especially in provinces. Take your

shoes o when you enter mosques or houses.

INSURANCE POLICY

Careully read the rules and conditions o insurance, which are written

in your insurance policy. In case o insured event you must promptly

notiy service company about the incident by telephones listed in

insurance policy and ollow the instructions given by operator o

insurance company.

HEALTH

Read careully the conditions in your insurance policy about providing

services in the event o emergency. You can fnd state and individual

hospitals in Turkey. In the Turkish language a drug store is ECZANE or

APOTEK. The drug stores in Turkey work rom Monday to Saturday,

9:00 19:00. On Sundays you can address to on-duty drug stores.

CREDIT CARDS

Almost all shopping malls, stores, and restaurants receive Visa and

Mastercard credit cards. Or you can cash out the money (in Turkish

lyres) almost at all ABMs.

STORES OPENING HOURS

Stores in Turkey are opened rom 9 am till 9 pm, large shopping malls

and supermarkets are opened rom 10 am till 10 pm.

TIPS

At restaurants 5-10% of total amount, for carriers, maids, and driver

after excursion 1-5 dollars.

A call rom a telephone box will be way cheaper than rom a hotel.

But get a telephone card frstly, which you can by at a stall near the
