The presentation was made at their Annual Conference on Financial Education held in Orlando, Florida. Brian Smith coordinates the MonnaieMoney Financial Literacy Project which provides training and education for youth in the Greater Montreal area. Mr. Smith is very passionate about improving the Financial Literacy skills of low income Montrealers, so as to assist them to break from the vicious cycle of poverty and exclusion. With over 15 years of community building experience, Mr. Smith is very honoured to be recognized by his peers in the financial literacy field. National Financial Literacy Month is recognized in the United States in April in an effort to highlight the importance of financial literacy and teach Americans how to establish and maintain healthy financial habits.
