President’s Report April 22 nd , 2015 Judicial Board: Annual General Meeting Judicial Board conducted oral hearing on Friday on whether another AGM is required They will be issuing a written decision in the coming days Constitutional amendments can be made in the Fall, regardless of decision Governance Review Engagement letter has been signed and sent to Davis LLP Main point of contact with law firm is Union General Manager General Manager Review Completing a review of the Union General Manager – policy states that it must happen by the end of March Last GM review was done 3-4 years ago Travel Cuts RFP Space Budget for next year assumes revenue from space as of July Council needs to give direction on which proposal the Executive should pursue and begin negotiations Board of Governors Student Experience Committee – Presentation on varsity affairs by Tim Maloney, Director Varsity Athletics Executive Transition Executive Transition commenced on Monday Society Day being organized for May 1 st – meetings and a lunch meet and greet with Faculty, Levied and Type 2 and Type 3 societies
