In Cowichan, theseprograms are provided by a small army of volunteers and the need increasesdaily. The Foundation is looking for volunteers who can help by driving toappointments or delivering meals. These small gestures help seniors stay at home,among family, friends and community.A commitment of one or two hours a week helps someone stay at home safely,and avoid moving to a (distant) assisted living facility.
