So what is Teachers.TV?• Video website which is very similar to YouTube.• Covers all learning areas and stages of learning.• Can be used by people in all sorts of teaching positions such as
EA’s, deputies and of course teachers.• In the UK, Teacher.TV can actually be viewed on cable and
satellite TV. • There are over 2000 videos online with info on behaviour
management, personal development, lessons, whole school programs and much more.
• Teacher TV also offers other resources including lesson plans and worksheets.
• It also offers an RSS feed for all you bloggers and subscribers so be sure to add it to your igoogle.
• There are also downloadable podcasts • Best of all, for non-commercial use you can distribute any
videos to your students as much as you want.
Creating an account on Teacher.tv
1. Click on register now at the bottom of user login.
2. When signing up be sure to select all the categories of info which best suite your needs
3. Now you have full access to all of teachers.tv videos
How do you use it?
• Teachers.tv uses a simple search engine much like YouTube•Browse by various categories including; videos, key stages, subjects, whole school issues, tv guides, and learning journies•There are also community groups based on areas of interest such as, religious education, school administration and more.
