L’agricoltura ha sempre prodotto bioenergia.
Il cibo, i combustibili, la trazione animale, sono in fondo forme di bioenergia che hanno accompagnato e accompagnano l’evoluzione dell’uomo e delle società.
Oggi stiamo chiedendo ai sistemi agricoli e forestali, di produrre maggiori quantità di energia in modo sostenibile, e senza impattare negativamente sulla disponibilità di cibo
La maggiore quantità di energia (NON SOLO BIOENERGIA) che otterremo dai sistemi agricoli e forestali dovrà concorrere a migliorare la sostenibilità delle attività umane.
