What to teach?

• Teach a class on investment properties• Teach agents how to use Fan Pages – Schedule a 90 minute

meeting with individual agents to walk them through a fan page setup. While you are with them, any calls that come in while you are together can be handed off to you for a pre-approval. (sneaky) Invite other curious agents to look over your shoulder (ninja)

• Teach classes on Social Media – Use the materials already provided for you by the various classes. This is a “hot” topic and agents are looking for any direction with this.

What to teach?

• Teach a class on the loan process (can video record as well)– The process – docs, income requirements, credit, etc.– Specifics of different Loan types– How to read the GFE/HUD-1

• Teach a class on the do’s and don’ts of credit. Run ads on Craigslist or let your partners know when you are teaching it (ask if they would like to co-sponsor) Put yellow signs around town (ask your partners if they would like to co-sponsor).

• Teach a class at a church. They are always looking for something to offer. Women – Host a budget class with a financial planner, New Couples – What to expect when buying their first home, Singles – How to buy a home on their own, Seniors – How to do a reverse mortgage, etc.

• Teach a class on How to get your blog post’s to first page of Google. Show an ActiveRain post as your example.

• Teach a class on Video Marketing. Bring your camera and make short videos during the presentation.

• Record all of your classes and use them as webinars for those who can’t attend in person. Also a great “reason to follow up”

How to get them there

• Start with a simple squeeze page or form (use the woobox app on your fan page)

• Make a short 45 second to 1 minute video telling the viewer the benefits of your presentation and how they can attend

• Youtube is great for this video as it gives you the embed code• Create an excel or Drive doc to track registrants

• Co-Sponsor with your title reps. Provide the invitation content for them to email to their database

• Make a flyer explaining the benefits and RSVP info and drop them at local offices

• Email your Database of realtors with the pre-written email explaining the benefits

• Posts the benefits to your Fan Page and provide an easy way to RSVP

• Posts to your Linked Profile• Send an Inmail to your connection in Linked In with the

benefits and RSVP information• Make a board on Pinterest called events and pin the flyer to it

• Create an Ad on Facebook with the benefits and target your custom audience

• Make the ad click to the app with the squeeze page and your video explaining the benefits

• Ask your referral partners to share with their co-workers and friends

• Pick up the phone and call your prospect referral partners and ask them to join you

Be Prepared

• Research the registrants before your presentation• Make a name tag for each attendee• Place a mark on the name tags of the target agents (the above

average agents)• Focus any free time to schmooze the targets
