A Miracle Called
“Yendise”
Sidney S. Collie Esq
Nassau, Bahamas. December 2012.
B.H. Publishers has announced the upcoming release of A Miracle Called “Yendise” by Sidney S.
Collie Esquire.
This riveting, spell-binding novel, depicting the trials and triumph of Sidney and Mavis Johnson-
Collie during the stages of the life of their miracle “Yendise”, will make one shed tears while en-
hancing faith in God.
The novel commences at the birth of their daughter Yendise, and defies normal medicine, baffling
doctors and provoking the reality that one can experience miracles in uniqueness, equivalent to
one’s measure of faith.
When Medical Science issued its assurance that their daughter will not survive, Sidney and Mavis
proved in an extra-ordinary bout of faith that the price had already been paid and that Yendise will
live.
At the writing of this novel, Yendise is 19 years of age, healthy, highly intelligent and a motivation
to all.
Sidney Collie has written numerous legal briefs, authored three other novels, prevailed as Govern-ment Senator in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas’ House of Parliament (1992—1997), Deputy Leader of The Free National Movement (2003—2005), Bahamas High Commissioner to CARICOM And Latin American States (appointed 2010), holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Science, Education, Law and English Language, is an adroit Political Advocate, a dedicated hus-band, meritorious father to six devouted children and successful law practitioner in the firm of Collie and Collie along with his wife Mavis Johnson-collie.
Experience a living miracle within the pages of A Miracle Called “Yendise”. Release date: 25th December 2012.

What Am I?

Discover The Bahamas: What Am I? By thriving new
author and Teacher, Roberta M. Sands, was wri7en to
give Primary School students an easier, fun, yet mean-
ingful way of learning important facts, in regards to
the na onal symbols of The Bahamas.
These na onal symbols explained Ms. Sands, are es-
sen al elements of the Bahamian culture, which de-
pict the environmental and historical heritage. Stu-
dents are encouraged to iden fy and know the signifi-
cance of each symbol to The Commonwealth of The
Bahamas.
As a novice Educator, it is understood the importance
of being crea ve u lizing a variety of strategies in
teaching. Therefore, it is my hope that presen ng
these symbols of The Bahamian culture through a
guessing game will capture the minds and hearts of
children all around the Bahamas.
Roberta M. Sands was born on the Island of New Prov-
idence, but grew up in the se7lement of Rock Sound
on the Island of Eleuthera. She a7ended Rock Sound
Primary School and went on to Preston H. Albury High
School where she graduated with honors at the age of
16.
While a7ending both schools she was taught the value
and importance of understanding the na onal symbols
and taking pride in her home, The Commonwealth of
The Bahamas. This, along with her love and con nued
quest for knowledge and higher learning lead her to
pursue a career in educa on.
It has always been her dream to work with children in
order to lay a firm founda on on which a child’s life
experiences will be based. Her love for children and
passion for teaching propels her to become the most
effec ve educator she can be, and to make a difference
in the lives of students in the Commonwealth of The
Bahamas.
This book was created while she was pursuing a Bache-
lor of Educa on Degree, with an op on in Early Child-
hood Educa on at The College of The Bahamas in Nas-
sau, Bahamas. Her goal is to create a series of educa-
onal books that will impact the ci zens of The Baha-
mas posi vely so that they may exude pride and be able
to confidently share the knowledge about their be-
loved Bahamas.
In The Bahamas, dogs roam freely, busily going about their
daily routines. As one drives through the streets in traffic, the
daily routine of a dog can be observed.
Miramar, Florida, USA.
Author Sebrena Bullard grew up in a household where pets, mostly cats, were regular members of her family. She fondly recalls, “Often cat foods topped my mother’s grocery lists.” Her observations of her pets and other animals, while driving through the streets, led her to write the Four Legged Society, where animals, some of whom are professionals, are confronted with human issues related to health, death, betrayal, prejudice, gossip, love and for-giveness.
Rusty, the main character of the book, is challenged by one of the greatest human issues known to man – the ability to forgive and move on. He is mad, mad as hell because, not only did he retire under embar-rassing circumstances from his job as a famous detec-tive, but he now faces a crippling condition; all be-cause of the ruthless actions of Spike, a jealous col-league. Now he is determined to make Spike pay and give him a taste of his own medicine.
But his plans for revenge take back seat after he is confined to a wheelchair. While in confinement, he is visited by neighbors and finds himself caught up in their lives. He recovers and almost misses an oppor-tunity to redeem himself. Life seems to be slowly headed uphill and even love is in the air.
When he least expects it, he comes face to face with Spike and learns that life comes full circle. Spike wants forgiveness and Rusty has to decide whether he can let go of an old hurt that he had been carrying around for two years.
Sebrena A. Bullard was born in Nassau Bahamas, where she lives with her three children and their dog, Rambo. With writing as a hobby since the age of twelve, she enjoys all genres of writing and reading novels of inspiration and love. The Four-Legged So-ciety is her first published work.
The Four Legged Society will be available in Spanish, French and German in 2013 and is a must read for all audiences.

B.H. Publishers LLC, heralds the release of “Teaching and Training Manual” authored by Rev. Ethel G. Moss, of Nassau Baha-
mas.
The manual is designed as a guidance and instruc on tool for Teachers of the Ministry. “Teaching is that part of the Chrisan
Ministry that gives growth to lives. To respond effecvely to these challenges each teacher must constantly be trained and re-
trained. It was therefore necessary to develop a systemac guide that will embrace both teaching and training instrucons
for developing and movang Leaders and teachers into a be%er understanding of the Ministry of Teaching”, says Rev. Moss.
At the basis of teaching is the need to understand the development needs of students, this should be the one determining
factor rela ng prepara on and strategies used in teaching.
Rev. Moss (nee Heas e) holds a Bachelors Degree in educa on (UWI) and Masters in Chris an Educa on (cum laude) Atlan c
College and Theological Seminary, Nassau, Bahamas. She is the only child of Edmond and LoJe Heas e, both deceased and
