This is her first mural in Penang that portraits the image of a local kid on her newest wall.

The mural painting depicts a small boy who appears to be biting on the collar of his t-shirt.The mural art of a little boy was inspired by a photograph taken in Indonesia by her friend. She also had made another mural paintings of his sister in Bali, Indonesia.

These 2 portraits represent the story of the children who have no home and living along the road in tents made of plastic bags, and it’s their childhood.

These murals showcase her outstanding talent at capturing human expression.

Her portraitures are ultra realistic, almost like a facsimile of the photographs on which they are based.

The Child Mural is located at Prangin Canal on the wall at the back of a shophouse facing Magazine Road Ghaut.

The Past, Present and Future

"Penang: Past, Present & Future" Mural is a wall mural in Magazine Road Ghaut, George Town, Penang. It is commissioned by the Komtar State Assemblyman, Ng Wei Aik, and created by the Wall Art Team of IBox Glass.

"Penang: Past, Present & Future" showcases Penang in three sets of 3D murals, one from the past, one the present and one of the envisioned future.

At time of writing, only a section of Penang Present was completed showing the frontage of the Kuan Yin

In addition to the wall painting, also includes three-dimensional props, among them part of a stool and brickwork to resemble a well.

IBox Glass intends to also include its specialty product, glassware, into the artwork which also incorporates existing elements such as a bodhi tree and a Datuk Kong shrine.

"Penang: Past, Present & Future" is expected to be the longest mural in Penang when completed.

Unlike the other murals and sculptures in Penang, this is a team effort from a group of young artists and art students calling themselves the Wall Art Team.

The artist behind the 3D installation

21 years old was born on the year 1994 lives in Taman Dagang Ampangstudent from Uitm Shah Alam .

Syafiq Rashyid Bin Abdul Jalil’s creativity in his 3D installation piece ‘quit smoking’ earned him the top spot and RM8,000 prize money. ‘Quit smoking’ is an 3D installation piece.

It is important that everyone should know that smoking is harmful and for extreme situation it may cause serious illness.

The motif is to open up the smokers eyes to see how harmful is smoking and how it can affect you life or ever worst , your loved ones.

By having a huge lungs ashtray placed on the wall, smokers will be reminded of the hazards of smoking because it depicts their lungs every time they finish their cigarettes.

The concept I use is minimalist and the existence of this smoking area will surely prevent the non-smokers from suffering the effect of smoking.
