Preparing for the future in a Catholic environment Hei whakatakatū mo te wā ka heke mai nei I roto I tea o Katorika
May 10th, 2016 Term 2, Week 2
Kia ora whanau ma,
I hope that all of the mothers in our school community enjoyed their special day on Sunday. I am sure you were all looked after and received special treatment from your children. All of us here at school certainly appreciate well the
support from you all and we know the children are lucky to have you as part of their lives.
At the end of last week we finished our book week celebrations with a fantastic ‘Dress up as a book character day’.
This was a really fun day and it was wonderful to see all of the costumes that the children and staff dressed up in. Look out for photographs in tonights Midweek newspaper.
A reminder to everyone that if you have not seen recent editions of the Wairarapa Times Age you may not be aware that
our very own MICHELLE BEAVER has been nominated for 'Volunteer of the Year' in the Times Age Sports Awards. Michelle does a huge amount of work promoting, organising and coaching sports teams in her own time. Please
help us to show our appreciation of Michelle by voting for her. To do this you need a copy of the Times Age where you will find the voting form, voting closes on 13th May.
All children need to be in full winter uniform by Monday of next week. Uniform items are available through our supplier
NZ Uniforms. We do stock a small range of second hand uniforms which if you wish to purchase please speak to Michelle or Kim in the office.
