REGULAR CLASSES

Same Classes for Dogs and Bitches 6 mos. & under 9 mos. Bred By Exhibitor 9 mos. & under 12 mos. American Bred 12 mos. & under 18 mos. Open Novice Amateur Owner Handler Best of Breed Amateur Owner Handler Class Eligibility: Dogs must be handled in the class by the registered owner of the dog

and is limited to exhibitors who have not, at any point in time, been a professional dog handler, AKC approved conformation judge, or employed as an assistant to a professional handler Bred by Exhibitor Class Eligibility: 1) All dogs entered in the Bred by Exhibitor class must be individually registered

with the AKC, 2) the person handling the dog must be a breeder of record of the dog and an owner of record of the dog, and 3) family members must be both a breeder and owner of record to exhibit in this class. Best of Breed Competition – "The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed

competition. Dogs that are Champions of Record. Dogs which according to their owner's records have completed the requirements for a championship but whose championships are unconfirmed. The entry and showing of dogs whose championships are unconfirmed is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where a dog completed the requirements for a championship according to the owner's records. If, at the end of the 90–day period, the championship of a dog has not been confirmed by the American Kennel Club, no further entries of the dog for Best of Breed competition are to be made until its championship has been confirmed by the AKC." NON–REGULAR CLASSES, INVOLVING SINGLE DOG ENTRIES Veteran Dogs & Veteran Bitches – 7 yrs. & under 9 yrs. 9 yrs. & under 11 yrs. 11 yrs. & older. Spayed and neutered

veteran dogs and bitches may compete at Independent Specialties NON–REGULAR CLASSES, INVOLVING MULTIPLE DOG ENTRIES Stud Dog/Brood Bitch Class – For dogs/bitches that have sired/whelped at least two dogs or bitches entered in this

show. The award will be based on the merits of the get/produce. The owner of the stud dog/brood bitch need not be the owner of the get/produce. As the judge's decision in this class will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class, will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won this class. The Stud Dog/Brood Bitch must appear in the ring with his/her get/produce and be entered in the Stud Dog/Brood Bitch Class. Brace Class – For two dogs with at least one common owner. Dogs need not be entered in an additional class.

AWARD OF MERIT At the discretion of the judge the Award of Merit will be given to 10% (always rounded upward) of all entries competing for Best of Breed. The 10% figure shall be based on the total Best of Breed entry at the time of closing, i.e., disregarding absentees, plus two for Winners Dog and Winners Bitch and the winners of the Veteran Dog and Veteran Bitch classes and any transfers from the classes. All those in Best of Breed competition shall be eligible to receive an Award of Merit, except the Best of Breed winner and the Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed winner.

PUPPY SWEEPSTAKES Entry fee for each dog entered in Sweepstakes shall be: $18.00. Puppy Sweepstakes is open to all Samoyeds who, on the day of the show will be six (6) months and under eighteen (18) months of age. Champions of Record may compete. Entries in Puppy Sweepstakes must be entered in a regular class in this show. Entries will be made at the same time and on the same form used for regular classes with the word "Sweepstakes" and the appropriate sex and age in the space provided for under Additional Classes. Sweepstakes Classes will be judged prior to the regular Breed Classes.

CLASSES DIVIDED BY SEX 6 mos. & under 9 mos., 9 mos. & under 12 mos. 12 mos. & under 15 mos.,15 mos. & under 18 mos Winners of each class will compete for Best in Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite to Best in Sweepstakes.

CASH PRIZES The club will retain 35% of the Sweepstakes entry fee for expenses. The remainder will be divided for all Sweepstakes class placements as follows: 40% for First; 30% for Second; 20% for Third; 10% for Fourth.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard). 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. ATTENTION EXHIBITORS The Show Site will be available to exhibitors at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Dogs must be removed immediately following Best in Show judging on Monday, March 5, 2012. DAY OF SHOW PARKING Day of Show Parking fees are at the discretion of WestWorld and are collected at the gate upon arrival. The fee for each automobile space occupied is $5 per day per entrance. Vehicles occupying more than one space will be charged and located accordingly. A WEEKEND PASS is available for $20 which offers IN & OUT PRIVILEGES (vehicles occupying more than one space will be charged accordingly). WEEKEND PASSES ARE AVAILABLE IN ADVANCE ONLINE AT WWW.FIESTAPCLUSTER.COM/PARKING Parking attendants will direct exhibitors to park in the designated areas on asphalt & gravel parking lots. NO PARKING OR DRIVING ON THE GRASS. Unloading zone will be provided with a 10-minute time limit. You may NOT take your dogs and equipment to the ring and you may NOT take vehicles on the show grounds. You must unload and immediately park your vehicle. There will be NO REGULAR EXHIBITOR PARKING in RESERVED AREAS or any area designated as an OFFICIAL FIRE ZONE or NO PARKING ZONE. There will be limited handicap day of show parking which will be available on a “first come” basis. Exhibitors not abiding by the rules may be subject to a Show Committee Hearing and have their vehicles towed out of the area or ticketed. GENERATORS & MOTORIZED VEHICLES Power for some grooming tents and setups will be provided by the Fiesta Cluster. NO OTHER PORTABLE GENERATORS will be allowed on the polo field. NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES shall be operated in the aisles between rings or within 20 feet of any ring. GROOMING & SET-UPS Grooming tents and set-up areas will be designated by the Fiesta Cluster. The grooming and crating areas will be supervised by the members of the Fiesta Cluster Committee, and/or their designated agents, who will be available to assist and enforce the set-up starting Wednesday, February 29 at 1pm. No portable generators are allowed on the show grounds. Reserved Grooming - Reserved grooming spaces, with power, will be offered to all exhibitors. This is for the convenience of the exhibitors, to avoid the early rush to grab space and to allow exhibitors with reservations to arrive at the venue at anytime with the assurance of adequate set-up space. The spaces will be reserved from Wednesday thru Thursday, the specialty day before the Cluster, and for all four days of the Cluster. Reserved spaces are offered in the following sizes and pricing: 5’ x 10’ - $20 10’ x 10’ - $40 10’ x 20’ - $80 (Space sizes are approximate) All reservations must be in writing and will be accepted by mail only. No telephone, e-mail, or internet requests will be accepted. If you wish to be adjacent to another exhibitor, please send in your reservations together. No more than two (2) reservations per envelope. Reservations must include a check for the correct amount & a self addressed stamped envelope. Do not send reservations by an express mail service that requires signature for delivery. Checks should be made out to the Fiesta Cluster. If the reserved spaces are full, your request will be returned. Reservations will close February 21, 2012. There will be no refund for any space once reserved. Exhibitors should note their breed(s) when making the reservation. Every effort will be made to optimize the placement of their space. Exhibitors should have no expectation of being adjacent to any other specific exhibitor or ring. Please note that some specialty clubs have reserved private tent space for their exclusive use. The Cluster Committee reserves the right to assign all of the reserved grooming spaces. All crates, chairs, and equipment must remain within the limits of the designated space. No vending may take place under any grooming tent. We would like to encourage exhibitors to efficiently use their space to allow everyone the opportunity to have space. It is our hope that by adding this option, we can increase your enjoyment of our shows. Public Grooming Space - There will be a limited amount of non-reserved, powered space under tent at the Cluster. This will be available on a first come / first served basis. Exhibitors are not permitted to mark-off or reserve space in the public grooming tents. Exercise pens are not permitted under tent in these areas. No portable generators are allowed on the show grounds. No vending may take place under any grooming tent. The Cluster Committee reserves the right to require the stacking of crates and any other remedies it may deem necessary for space in non-reserved spaces on a case by case basis at their discretion. There will also be a limited amount of non-reserved, unpowered space under tent at the Cluster. If you do not need power, please consider taking space in these areas. Personal Set-ups (EZ-ups, canopy tents, etc) – are permitted in areas designated by the Cluster Committee. No set-ups will be permitted within twenty feet of any ring. No crates, exercise pens, grooming tables, or set-ups will be permitted in the aisles. No portable generators are allowed on the show grounds. The Cluster Committee will make every effort to ensure that these policies are enforced. THE CLUSTER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OR INJURY DUE TO TENTING NOT PROVIDED BY THE FIESTA CLUSTER. SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING RINGSIDE SHADE TENTS – RINGSIDE CRATING The shade tents at ringside are for the convenience of the exhibitors while their breed is being exhibited. It is expected that exhibitors will occupy the shaded area no sooner than fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled exhibition time, nor later than fifteen minutes after completion of their breed judging. NO GROOMING, SET-UPS, OR EXERCISE PENS WILL BE PERMITTED RINGSIDE. Dogs may not be left unattended in the shaded areas at ringside while that breed is currently being exhibited. The show Committee will impound dogs left in violation of this regulation. Owners or agents who violate these regulations, or whose dogs have been impounded by the Show Committee will be subject to disciplinary action as exacted by the Show Committee. Expenses incurred thereof will be the responsibility of the owner. DOGS LEFT IN PARKED CARS In the event that it becomes necessary to rescue an animal from a parked car on the show grounds or parking areas immediately surrounding the show grounds, the Fiesta Cluster will not be held liable for any damages incurred as a result of rescuing the animals. Furthermore, if the rescue has to be performed by virtue of negligence, the owner, agent or any other person responsible for the rescued animal WILL be subjected to a Bench Show Hearing, as approved by the rules of the AKC. There are Bathrooms and Showers available for exhibitors located above the NE corner of the Polo Field. Any exhibitor found with a dog in bathrooms or showers will NOT be allowed to exhibit and will be subject to action by the SHOW COMMITTEE. A sanitary dump station is available on the grounds. GOLF CART USAGE DURING SHOW HOURS The ONLY carts allowed in the vicinity of the rings will be OFFICIALLY MARKED FOR FIESTA CLUSTER COMMITTEE USE ONLY. Private golf carts will be restricted to traffic on the outside perimeter of the Show Boundaries designated as the Fire Lanes.

ADDITIONAL RULES

1. Entries must reach the Superintendent, Jack Bradshaw, 5434 East Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles CA, 90022, by Noon, Wednesday, February 15, 2012 PST. Fees should accompany entries. This club and/or its superintendent assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or agent of the owner. This club and its superintendents assume no responsibility for the owner or owner's agents entering a dog in a class in which the dog is not eligible to compete, or for entering the same dog twice. 2. Returned Checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check and declined credit card. Subsequent returned checks for the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. The returned check or declined credit card MUST BE MADE GOOD by cash or money order BEFORE the dog will be allowed in the ring. 3. Exhibitors' Identification tickets and judging programs will be mailed to the address given on the entry blank. If not received within a reasonable time prior to the show, notify the superintendent. Tickets returned by the Post Office marked 'undeliverable' will be held at the Superintendent's Office. PLEASE BRING YOUR IDENTIFICATION TICKETS TO THE SHOW. 4. During the hours of judging owners are to be on call, and have their dogs ready to bring into the judging ring promptly, In order that the judging will not be delayed. Dogs need only be present for their judging. Dogs not needed for further judging may be excused. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have his dog ready to be shown and at the entrance of the judging ring when the steward calls for the class. Owners of dogs or the handlers of the dogs alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. This means it is not the responsibility of the ring steward, nor of any agent of the show-giving club to locate any dog, its owner or handler, when the dog's presence is needed in a judging ring. It should be understood by every exhibitor and handler that waiting for dogs to be brought into the ring is a courtesy extended to the owner or handler of the dog. There is no rule of this club nor of The American Kennel Club that requires a judge to wait for an owner or handler to bring his dog into the ring. 5. Trophy cards for prizes will be awarded in the judging rings. In the event of any discrepancy from the published prize list; the superintendent's office should be advised at once. All trophies must be claimed the day of the show. None will be mailed. 6. Exhibitors are admonished to make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this premium list. Rule books are available online at ww.akc.org 7. The club, its superintendents or their employees will not be responsible for the loss of or damage to any dog exhibited, whether the result of accident or other causes and in addition assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by an owner, exhibitor or handler, spectator. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this show is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. 8. No grooming tables, pens or exhibitors setups will be allowed in the aisles and all grooming must be done away from the judging ring in areas specified by the club. Clubs are not responsible to loss or injury due to tenting not provided by the Fiesta Cluster. 9. Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by veterinarian or judge, barred from competition by action of the Bench Show Committee, or because the dog is ineligible to compete due to being entered incorrectly. There is no refund of entry fee for duplicate entry. There will be a $2.00 fee charged for cancellation of entry prior to closing of entries. 10. Declination of Entries. The Samoyed Club of Central Arizona may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness or other causes, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the Kennel Clubs or any official thereof. 11. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry will be made. 12. Do not leave any dogs in closed vehicles. 13. Dogs which according to their owners' records have completed the requirements for a championship after the closing of entries for the show but whose championships are unconfirmed, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or Variety Competition, provided this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least one half hour prior to the start of the earliest Conformation judging at the Show. 14. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class after the Closing of entries for a show may transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of the earliest conformation judging or one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the Show, whichever is earlier. 15. These will be “self-cleaning” shows. Cleaning equipment will be provided at various locations. Your help in providing a better show environment is requested and appreciated. 16. Liquor Rules and Regulations. It is against City of Scottsdale regulations and ordinances for any person or organization to bring upon the premises any alcoholic beverages unless a permit has been purchased from Scottsdale Parks and Recreation. Tickets and fines will be imposed for non-compliance. No glass containers are allowed on the property. during 19. Exhibitors not abiding by the rules may be subject to a show committee hearing and have their vehicles towed out of the area or ticketed. 17. All rights to advertise, publicize, televise, photograph or otherwise promote this Cluster or any part thereof are vested in each individual club on its show date or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by authorized officers of a particular club. All persons and animals on the Show Site at any time while the shows are in progress do, by attending and/or participating therein, grant to each club the right to photograph, televise, audiotape, or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent. 18. Dogs which according to their owners’ records have earned an obedience or rally title after the closing of entries for the show may be moved up to the next class, provided this transfer is made in writing and presented to the superintendent at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. 19. No practicing allowed in rings at any time. 20. Due to safety concerns, the use of retractable/ flexi-leads on the show grounds is not permitted show hours. All dogs must be on a lead not to exceed six (6) feet in length and under control at all times.

The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)

Novice Junior Class: For Boys and Girls who are at least 9 years old and under 12 years old on the day of the show and who,

at the time entries close, have not won three First Place awards with competition present in a Novice Class at a

licensed or member show.

Novice Intermediate Class: For Boys and Girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years old on the day of the show

and who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Place awards with competition present in a Novice Class

at a licensed or member show.

Novice Senior Class: For Boys and Girls who are at least 15 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and

who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Place awards with competition present in a Novice Class at a

licensed or member show.

Open Junior Class: For Boys and Girls who are at least 9 years old and under 12 years old on the day of the show and who,

at the time entries close, have won three First Place awards with competition present in a Novice Class at a licensed

or member show.

Open Intermediate Class: For Boys and Girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years old on the day of the show and

who, at the time entries close, have won three First Place awards with competition present in a Novice Class at a

licensed or member show.

Open Senior Class: For Boys and Girls who are at least 15 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who,

at the time entries close, have won three First Place awards with competition present in a Novice Class at a licensed

or member show. Master Class: This class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and

who have won the 10 first place wins in an Open class with competition to be eligible to enter the Limited C lass Competition. The calendar for this class will be November1 - October3 1 of the following year. .All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to complete for the following year.

Each dog handled in a Junior Showmanship Class must be entered in one of the Breed or Obedience Classes at the show, or must be entered for Junior Showmanship only. However, a dog may be substituted. Such substitution must be accompanied by an official AKC entry form. All such substitution must be made one half-hour prior to the judging of any Junior Showmanship Classes at the show. Each dog must be owned or co-owned by the Junior Handler or by the Junior Handler's father, mother, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, grandfather or grandmother, including step and half relations or by a member of the Junior Handler's household. Every dog entered for Junior Showmanship must be eligible to compete in Dog Shows or in Obedience Trials. BITCHES IN SEASON ARE NOT ELIGIBLE. A dog that has been excused or disqualified by a Breed Judge or by a Bench Show Committee may still be handled in Junior Showmanship if eligible to compete in Obedience Trials. A dog that has been rejected, dismissed, or excused by the Veterinarian for the protection of the other dogs at the show or for the protection of the dog excused may not be handled in Junior Showmanship. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition present after the closing of entries for a show may transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of any regular conformation judging or one half-hour to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show, whichever is earlier.

Winning of first place in an Open Class at this show may qualify or count toward qualification for entry in certain future limited Junior Showmanship Classes.
