A Basic Introduction to
Energy Deregulation
What makes this possible:
1
New Jersey started to deregulate energy laws in 1999.
The supply and delivery portions are separated on your electric or natural gas bill.
Because of Deregulation, the supply portion is open to competition.
Customers are now able to shop for the best price on their energy supplies.
Overview
2
“Purchasing your energy supplies from a company other than your electric or gas utility is purely an economic decision; it has no impact on the reliability, quality, or safety of your service.”

Supply & Transmission Delivery
Gas is Produced Delivery
If you select a third-party supplier, your current utility company will still distribute energy to your home through the necessary wires and pipes.
In an Emergency
If after a customer selects an ESCO there occurs a power outage, an emergency, or you smell gas, they are still contacting their utility company. Your current utility company will continue to handle emergencies as usual.

OUR PROCESS:
Step 1: Analyze your current utility bills to determine current per kwh cost, either from the utility company or with the current energy supplier
Step 2: Acquire lowest achievable market rate though our reverse energy auction process, bidding multiple energy supply companies (ESCOs)
Step 3: Present you with a side-by-side comparison of the rate attained and guidance through arising confusion within energy contracts.
Step 4: Submit your agreement and save you 15-30% immediately upon the next billing cycle.
Rather than working directly for one energy supplier and only representing their service, Premiere Energy Auctions differentiates itself by representing several ESCO's (energy supply companies) Throughout the state and pitting them against one another in a reverse open auction format.
