Step 1: Login to Web Registration

Step 2: Activate your Registration starting June 16, 2020

• You will receive a registration time when you activate.

• You should be registering at your registration time – any later and you may not get classes.

• Activate TODAY if you have not done so. Record your registration time in your Calendar. Times are given in Vancouver time

Step 3: Register for Courses

Program CurriculumWhat is a program curriculum?

• A curriculum tells you exactly what classes you have to take in order to graduate

• Every program has a curriculum

• You should become familiar with your program curriculum so that you are taking the right classes!

What are University Transferable (UT) courses?

These are courses that if successfully completed, their credits are accepted at Universities

To check if a course is UT, find the “U” next to the course

What are credits?

Credits are hours / points that are earned at the end of each semester

1 class usually equals 3 credits

Some classes are 1 credit or 4 credits.

See the Red Circle on the right side of this page to find out how many credits your course is worth.

9 credits is considered FULL TIME

Three classes usually equals 9 credits

What is a CRN?

A CRN stands for “Course Registration Number”

Each class in the College is assigned a unique CRN

Use the CRN to indicate to the Registration System which class you want to register for.

Finding CRN’s:

1. Go to the Registration Guide and click Here

All classes will be held ONLINE for the fall. There will be no face to face, in person instruction.

There will be two types of classes

1) Online classes that do NOT have live lectures or class participation time - Asynchronous

2) Online classes that have a LIVE lecture or class participation time - Synchronous

Waitlists

What is a waitlist?

A waitlist is a term that is used to describe when a course is full and there are student’s waiting for admittance.

If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist.

Adding yourself to the waitlist does not guarantee that you will get into the class, so it is always a good idea to find anotherclass to register into

• Monitor your waitlist – twice per day!

Accepting a waitlist offer is NOT AUTOMATIC

• You only have 24 hours to accept a waitlist offer

• Overrides and waitlists will be sent to your MyLangara email

Login ID:- Use your student number (9-digit starting with “100”)

Password (Default):- FL-YYYYMMDD

A positive number means you need to pay more money!

A negative number means you have a

credit on your account

Important Dates and DeadlinesFall Semester: September to December

June 16, 2020: Registration Activation

Activate your Registration if you have not done so already

June 22 – August 13: Registration Period 1

you will be assigned a registration time when you activate your registration

Ensure you register ON TIME at your registration time.

Registration times are in Vancouver Time. Check the time zones so that you are not late!

August 14, 2020: Fee Payment Registration Deadline

Student fees must be paid or you will be dropped from all of your classes

August 20, 2020: Registration Period 2 begins

A second chance to try to get into classes

Very risky leaving it this late, but may be an option if you did not pay your fees in time and were dropped from classes.

August 31 – September 4 (TBA) : International Student Orientation (ISO)

Only students registered in classes will be invited to ISO

September 7, 2020: Drop Deadline (Last day to drop classes and receive tuition refund)

September 8, 2020: First day of classes
