Fundamental news • Indian rupee appreciated on positive equity market and FII

inflows in the local shares. However, strong dollar, recovery in crude oil prices and concerns over corona virus restricted sharp gains.

• We expect rupee to depreciate on surge in crude oil prices, strength in the greenback and fiscal slippage concerns. Traders may remain cautious ahead of the RBI monetary policy. However, positive Asian markets may prevent sharp downside in the rupee.

• US- Unemployment Claims exp 215k vs 216k
