Exotissimo Travel is a Leading Inbound Tour Operator and Destination Management Company (DMC) to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia And Japan.

The company organizes everything from Tailor-made Tours for individual travelers to Memorable Incentive Trips for hundreds Of employees.

A BRIEF HISTORY

Exotissimo Travel Established In Ho Chi Minh City In January 1993 as The First European Invested Joint-venture Company Operating in tourism in Vietnam . Since then the company has grown into a network of 17 Operations Offices with dedicated sales teams around The World. The company is entering to almost 20th years of operating in Southeast Asia and Japan now.

Hamish has extensive experience in the industry having launched travel brands in Asia before joining Exotissmo as General Manager for Exo Thailand’s launch in 1993.

According to my observation and my experience of working for creating new bookings of the company, I would indicate about the number of clients using company’s services and products in the present time which is over 100,000 because the company is growing up very quickly with its high- standard of services, the service –minded of staff to provide the professional services to exceed clients’ expectations as well as the company’s intention to give good things back to community, environment and society.

For the competitors are Inbound Tour Operator Company and Outbound Tour Operator Company.

- My position is Student Trainee of Inbound Reservation 4 (English Speaking Guide and Asian Market). - My Job Supervisor is Mr. Krit Nipamanee and his position is Senior Reservation Supervisor.

STRATING & ENDING DATES

My Pre – Internship period started from 2

nd April 2012 to 25 th May 2012. I worked every day from Monday – Friday except weekend from 8. 30 a.m. to 17 .30 p.m. The total hours of my Pre – Internship was 318 hours included some extra working hours on Saturday and Sunday.

• Inbound Reservation 4 Dept. : Creating new bookings by using Tourplan program, Creating a cover paper of reservation, Making a contact with hotels and suppliers, Responding Emails from Clients and Checking about the company’s service costs.

CONCLUSION

The company is great in term of products & services, policies & commitments to employees, partners, community, environment and clients. The organization and system of the company is also very good therefore, working here is such a good opportunity to learn a lot of things, to enhance the knowledge and experience in tourism field as well as to practices to be more professional in working. Furthermore, I totally can practice and improve my English skills because I had to experience English every day of my working hours.
