March 30-April 1Easter SundayIn the first reading we hear Peter proclaiming the Good News of Jesus risen from the dead and that in his lifetime, Jesus went about doing good, healing the sick and that God was with him! As disciples of Jesus, filled with grace through his resurrection, we too are called to this mission. What good are we called to do this week? Who are those, sick in mind, body or spirit that we might minister to this week? How can we bring the presence of God to situations of injustice this week?

the blessings of Easter! The celebration of the resurrection of Our Lord is a grace, which restores our hope that we will share in the resurrection even now.
To everyone who worked with such devotion and care so that the liturgies of Holy Week could be celebrated with divine love, thank you! Surely Our Lord will bless you for the many sacrifices you make for His glory and honor.
In a special way, the month of April is dedicated to the Holy Spirit. For, just as the purpose of Lent is to prepare our hearts to celebrate the resurrection of Our Lord; the purpose of the season of Easter is to prepare our hearts to celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Let us dedicate the fifty days of the Easter season to the Holy Spirit, and pray…
O Jesus, soon after your Ascension into your glory at the right hand of the Father, you showed your goodness by sending forth the Holy Spirit with many and various gifts. From the Eucharist as from another heaven wherein you have set up your throne of love, you impart to souls the spirit of life and strength and you enkindle in us the light of divine charity. Grant us the grace to reap all the fruits given to us by the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Así como el propósito de la Cuaresma es preparar nuestros corazones para celebrar la resurrección de Nuestro Señor; el propósito de la temporada de Pascua es preparar nuestros corazones para celebrar el descenso del Espíritu Santo en Pentecostés. Dediquemos los cincuenta días del tiempo Pascual al Espíritu Santo, y oremos...
Oh Jesús, poco después de tu Ascensión a tu gloria a la diestra del Padre, mostraste tu bondad al enviar al Espíritu Santo con muchos y diversos dones. Desde la Eucaristía, así como desde otro cielo en el que has establecido tu trono de amor, impartes a las almas el espíritu de vida y fortaleza y enciendes en nosotros la luz de la caridad divina. Concédenos la gracia de cosechar todos los frutos que nos fueron dados por los dones del Espíritu Santo. Amén.

Are you wanting to learn more about our faith? Are you just sitting in your car waiting for your kids to get out of religious education classes? Take that leap of faith because we have something for you. Classes will be offered on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m. in English with Anna Lara in the Knights of Columbus room (PAC301) and in Spanish with Art Lara in room 208 in the Education building.
On Sundays, we will have a Spanish session at 9:45 a.m. in room 208 of the Education Building.
This is open to everyone come join us for this year’s Adult Faith Formation Program. Classes will follow the RE calendar for the year. For more information please contact the RE Office.

Want to Grow in Holiness, But Don’t Know How?In our hectic day and time, Saint Pope John Paul II and Saint Mother Teresa knew
that the quickest way to be transformed into a saint was through a relationship with Our Blessed Mother, Mary.
Join us on April 10th, as we begin a 33-day preparation for Marian Consecration. For six weeks, we’ll individually read about and reflect on four great Marian giants: Saint Louis de Montfort, Saint Maximilian Kolbe, Saint Mother Teresa, and Saint Pope John Paul II. They’ll teach us the secrets to drawing closer to the Heart of Jesus through the Heart of Mary. In our weekly meetings, Tuesday, 7-8:30pm, we’ll share insights within our small group and then watch a 30-minute video by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, which will bring our individual reflections and group experience into a clear and live-able focus.
