DAY 1 - The Next Generation of Church Planting Twenty years ago, Pine Terrace Baptist Church in Milton planted Living Truth Church. Recently, Living Truth Church was able to plant a new Gospel work with church planter Jared Owens. Church multiplication is critical and is best accomplished when churches plant churches who plant churches. Pray for the multiplication e�ort that can occur when pastors of church plants are stirred by God with a vision to launch new churches.

DAY 2 - Churches Working Together Pastor Bob Perry at First Baptist Church of The Villages could see the growth happening in his community and he knew it was more than his church could handle. Through a cooperative church planting e�ort with church planter Kent McDowell, they helped establish the Kingdom Coalition. Pray for more coalitions to form across our state where churches work together to plant churches that reach their growing communities.

DAY 3 - Pipeline of Planters Sarasota Baptist Church invested in the life of Larry Snyder. As a banker in the community, Larry served as a leader in the church. God called Larry and his family to church planting. Years later, after planting a church in Pennsylvania, God called them back to Southwest Florida to plant a new church. Sarasota Baptist once again invested in Larry to partner with him in launching The Well Church. Pray for the investment churches make in the lives of individuals that will one day be called to pastor a new church plant.

DAY 4 - A Place to Call Home Zelvis Applin is leading South Hills Church to complete renovations on a property they will call home. Church plants often struggle to find meeting space, and this has become particularly di�cult during the pandemic, as school buildings have been unavailable. Pray for God to open up doors to church plants to make the necessary meeting spaces available.

DAY 5 – The Next Season of MinistryAfter serving in ministry for many years, Joe Guynes was called by God and sent out by The Local Church to plant The Redeemer’s Place. As an individual reaching closer toward retirement, many would say that Joe doesn’t fit the typical mold of a church planter. Pray for God to stir in unconventional ways as he raises up servants with a heart to plant churches across the state.

DAY 6 - Meeting Needs in Unique Ways For decades Florida Baptists have focused on reaching the tapestry of ethnicities that call Florida home. This has included new multicul-tural church plants engaging many tribes and tongues with the Gospel. Pastor Alberto Ocaña at Iglesia Baptista Northside in Hialeah saw a pressing need to reach the 2nd and 3rd generation Hispanic community. That’s why their Hispanic congregation is launching a new Gospel work in English with Carlos Finale. Pray for churches to see the needs of the lost around them and to develop unique strategies to reach them with the Gospel.

DAY 7 - Not Going Alone It is hard to go alone, that’s why when First Baptist Callahan sent out Todd Carr, their student pastor of 15 years, to plant The Exchange Church, they also sent 60 core lay leaders to help. God gifts each of us uniquely to serve the church. When you give to the Maguire State Mission O�ering, you are standing by church planters across the state. You too are helping them to feel they are not alone. Pray for the generosity of Florida Baptists as they give to this o�ering and for the teams of individuals that stand hand-in-hand with church planters to support the launch of new churches.
