Week 4 Day 22 Psalm 139: 13-17

13For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven

together in the depths of the earth, 16your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. 17How precious to me are your thoughts,

O God! How vast is the sum of them!

Thank you, Father of all Creation, that we have never been hidden from you. Thank you that you saw us when we were being formed at the beginning of our lives and you will be there with us at the end of

our lives. Loving Father, you know all about ………………. (lost). There is nothing that they think or do that is hidden to you. There is no sin too big, or too small, that Jesus has not already paid for through his death on the cross. You can bring resurrection to every life no matter what situation they come from

because Jesus died and rose from the dead for us. Father in Heaven, may …………… (lost) have a revelation of this. May they humble themselves and acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. May

they know and enjoy the vastness of the loving thoughts that you have towards them. Wonderful Father, may ………………….. (found), all those at …………… (church), your children everywhere and I know and enjoy the vastness of the thoughts you have towards each one of us. May we walk in the confidence of your great love and may we in turn share that love with those around us. May we know that there is no place that we can hide from you. May we always enjoy your fellowship. You

already know the number of days you have given each of us. May we praise you all the days of our lives because we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Amen

Week 4 Day 24 Proverbs 3:5-6

5Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. 7Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. 8This will bring health to your body and nourishment to

your bones.

Thank you, Lord God, that we can trust you with all our heart, mind, soul and spirit, for you are trustworthy and very wise. I ask that …………… (lost) would trust in Jesus with all their hearts, minds

and souls. I ask that their education, thoughts, knowledge and experiences would not get in the way of knowing you, Jesus. I stand in the gap (until they want to do this for themselves), and ask

for your forgiveness for all the times these things have separated them and kept them from coming to you. May they lean not on their own understanding, but may they submit to you and as

they do, will you make their paths straight. May they revere you and turn away from all evil so they would be healed.

Loving Father, I ask this also for ………….. (found), myself and the people at ………(church). Help us Lord, to put our trust in you and in your truth, not in our own understanding. Let us remember

that your thoughts are so much greater than ours, and that you see the big picture while we see only what is in front of us. May we submit to you in everything we do because we know you will make our paths straight. May our wisdom come from your Holy Spirit. May we lift you up and in doing this, may we turn away from evil. As we do this, may we know health in our bodies. Amen


Week 4 Day 26 Psalm 103:2-5

2Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits – 3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,

4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, 5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Gracious Father, Lord of all creation, thank you for the great love, compassion, and mercy that you pour out on us every day. I ask that you would have compassion on ……………. (lost). Please love on them as only you can. Surround them with Christians who will love them, pray for them and who will talk about Jesus to them. Help them to see the pit they are in and help

them to want to be rescued from it. Be merciful to them when they turn to Jesus. Please forgive all their sins, heal all their diseases and crown them with your unfailing love and

compassion. Give them new vision and purpose for their lives.

Oh Lord, may ………………, the people at ………...(church) and I never cease to praise you. May we remember all that you have done for us. As we do this, may we overflow with your love and compassion for those around us. May we know that you are the God who heals every disease and may we be quick to pray and release your healing. May we be bold in what we

say, speak words that bring life and encouragement to others and to ourselves. May we find refreshment in you. Amen


Week 4 Day 28 Isaiah 55:6-7

6Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts.

Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Thank you, Father, that you invite us to seek you and call on you, for you will be found through Jesus; you are near to us through your Holy Spirit. I ask that ………… (lost) would seek you Father, by seeking out Jesus and through him, call on you. May they turn to Jesus and as they do, would you pour out your mercy on them and pardon them. Help them to forsake all their unrighteous

ways and thoughts, replacing them with your ways and thoughts, Loving Father.

May …………….(found), all the people at …………… (church), your children of this nation and I passionately seek you and call on you, Loving Father, every day; not because we have to, but

because we want to. I ask that you would reveal your kingdom to us, as we walk with Jesus, and as we read your Word, through the power of the Holy Spirit. I ask that we would diligently seek you

for the needs of the people around us, with prayers, petitions, thanksgiving and practical help if we are able. Help us to turn away from wicked and unrighteous thoughts and ways. May we not even entertain them. Please forgive us for giving those thoughts and ways access to our hearts, minds

and souls. Let our minds be filled with your good and righteous thoughts and ways, that we might reflect your glory to those around us. Amen.

Week 4: Day 23 Psalm 130:1-4

1Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord; Lord, 2hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. 3 If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

4 But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.

Thank you Merciful Father, that Jesus has provided for our sins to be forgiven through his

death on the cross and his resurrection. I ask that you would be attentive to my prayer for ……………. (lost). Would you please extend your mercy to them and show them that the way to

true happiness is through Jesus. May they acknowledge their sin, repent, believe and be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, so that their sins can be washed

away forever. May they then serve you wholeheartedly with reverence and with passion.

Merciful Father, thank you for your forgiveness and for washing every one of my sins away when I asked Jesus into my heart. You remember them no more. Help …………. (found), me and those at ………… (church) to walk in the knowledge of this grace, not with self-righteousness, but with

humility and a grateful heart. May we extend the grace that was shown to us, when we are dealing with people who do not know Jesus yet. Help us to talk and walk in a manner that brings

you pleasure. Help us to be quick to ask for forgiveness when we mess up, and to extend forgiveness when others sin against us. May we partner with you to reach the lost. May we serve

you with reverence and passion in all that we do. Amen



17The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. 18 The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

19 He fulfils the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. 20 The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.

Thank you that you are a righteous and faithful Father. Thank you that everything you do is good. This is the Truth on which we can build our lives. Faithfull Father, please would you reveal this Truth to ……………… (lost) so that they may call upon you. Give them a desire for the Truth.

May they ask the questions that lead to Jesus because only he speaks the Truth. May what they believe in and put their faith in, become dissatisfying to them. Father, please give them ears to

hear your Truth and a heart that responds to it. I am calling on you to watch over and save………… (lost) so they will not be destroyed. May they fear you in a good way, may they cry

out to Jesus for salvation so they may know eternal life.

I rejoice in your goodness, your righteousness and your faithfulness, Father God. How wonderful it is that you are near and that you hear ……………, (found), me and those at ………… (church) when we call out to you. May your Holy Spirit always lead us to the goodness of your Truth. May you fulfil the Godly desires of our hearts. May you continue to watch over us and

save us from our enemies whatever situation we find ourselves in. May our love for you, Faithful Father, grow with each passing day that we spend with Jesus. Amen



8The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. 9 He will not always accuse, nor will he harbour his anger for ever;

10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;

12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Thank you, Father God, that you are slow to anger and so very rich in love, graciousness and compassion. Thank you that you don’t treat us as our sins deserve. Gracious Father, please would you forgive ……………

(lost) for turning away from Jesus and for hardening their hearts at the mention of you. Would you continue to pursue them, love them and extend your mercy to them. Please don’t be angry with them. Surround them with people who know and walk in your love, and who will challenge them with your truth. May

……………. choose Jesus and be able to say, “That as far as the east is from the west, the Lord has removed my transgressions from me.”

Gracious Father, it is so good to be reminded of your goodness, your loving kindness, your great compassion and the fact that you are slow to anger. Your love is so BIG it has no end. When we look at the

sky and the vastness of space, then compare it with your love, space becomes so small. Help ………………. (found), me, those at …………..(church) and your children of this nation to grow in this love. Please reveal how wide, how high, how long and how deep your love is as we walk with Jesus. May we read your Word through the lenses of your abounding love. Lastly, Father, may we fully understand that our sins have not

only been forgiven, they have also been totally removed from us. We have been washed clean. Thank you, Gracious Father. Amen

Words of Encouragement Another week completed. What a faithful friend you are to those you are praying for. I know that our Loving Heavenly Dad is smiling, because what you are praying is straight from his heart. He longs to know those who don’t yet know Jesus. He also longs to bestow more of His blessings on those of us who do know Jesus, so we can grow in His amazing love. While praying this week, thankfulness welled up in my heart because of what Jesus has done for

me, for what He is doing and for what he is going to do for those we are praying for. I am so thankful for you also, because of your passion and desire to see your friends and loved ones come to know Jesus more.

Psalm 100:5 5 For the Lord is good and his love endures for ever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

The prayers in week five are about the love of our Father in Heaven who sent Jesus to save the world. The focus is on the truth, that all who believe in Jesus will have eternal life. As we have been praying and as we continue to pray for our loved ones, we will be joining our prayers with those of our great intercessor, Jesus. No wonder our prayers

are powerful and effective!

This week, let us pray with love and with passion. Let us pray believing that Jesus will have the victory in the lives of all those we are praying for. Let us pray, that those who do not yet know Jesus would not perish or be condemned

for eternity because of their unbelief but would know the saving grace that Jesus extends to them.

Victorious Jesus, may we pray week five prayers from a place of victory and great faith, knowing that as we do you are reaching out to those we are praying for with your saving grace and your great love. Amen
