We wanted to walk you through the process to show you how we conduct your timeshare transfer.

There is just a few simples steps to complete this process!

Step 1: Information Sheet

We will receive your Prairie Dog information sheet and contract At that time we will require our fees to be paid that are stated in the

contract when you sign it. One Time Processing Fee

Transfer Fee: We will give you the Total of the Transfer Fee that you must pay to the resort at the time of transfer

We will contact you about these fees, shortly after receiving your contract. (The process will not begin till the processing fees are paid)

Step 2: Original Deed or Membership

We will require a copy of the original deed or the membership contract You may mail, email or fax to us.

We use the original deed to create a Quit Claim Deed

Membership contracts that are not deeded will require a transfer sheet that will be acquired from the resort.

Step 3: Quit Claim Deed

We will create a document called a quit claim deed that is copied from your original deed, but with the new owner (Grantee) and you as the seller (Grantor)

We will send this too you to get signed and notarized. You will need two witness signatures.

You will mail the original copy back to us after getting it signed and notarized.

Step 4: County Recording Office

We will send out the Quit Claim Deed after is signed and notarized to the county to be recorded.

We might have you sign additional paperwork for the recording office.

This process depends on mail time We will contact you once we get the

Quit Claim Deed back recorded.

Step 5: Sent Recorded Deed to Resort

This is the final step of the transfer process. Once we receive the recorded Quit Claim Deed back from the county,

we will prepare the deed to be sent to you. You will send out what paper works provide along with the transfer fee

to resort or the company affiliated with the resort. Take a deep breath, we are almost done! We will contact the resort a couples of week after you have sent the

deed to them to confirm the transfer.

Is Your Timeshare Not Deeded?

There is a different process for timeshares not deeded. We fill out a transfer sheet provided by the resort. You get that transfer sheet signed and notarized Then mail it to resort with transfer fee to the resort.

*Bluegreen properties have changed their transfer procedures, we have to fill out a transfer request online and at the time of transfer pay

a $450.00 transfer fee in which we will contact you for payment info. In which we can at the time of transfer complete for you as long as you provide us with your username and password for your bluegreen account.

FAQ’s DOES PRAIRIE DOG TITLE COMPANY OR THE COMPANY REFFERING US TO YOU TAKE

OVER THE TIMESHARE?No, they and we do not take over the timeshare, which is a common misconception. We list the timeshares for individuals that use them for different types of things. HOW LONG DOES THIS USUALLY TAKE?The process can take up to 180 days at the most. Most of this is based off of mail time and the recording offices and resort transfer process. AFTER I SIGNED THIS CONTRACT IT MEANS THE TIMESHARE IS OUT OF MY NAME

AUTOMATICALLY?No, there is a legal process that must be done to change ownership on the timeshare. We have to go through all of the steps to change the ownership. The timeshare is not out of your name until the resort processes the recorded deed. SHOULD I TELL THE RESORT THAT I GAVE AWAY MY TIMESHARE AND THAT I SHOULD NOT

HAVE TO PAY MAINTENANCE FEES FOR THIS YEAR?No, you must pay the maintenance fees for the year you signed our contract. Any paperwork, payment, and original deeds received after 6/30 of that year will be responsible for the next years maintenance fees.
