Why to participateBenign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)is the most frequent cause of vertigo. This vestibular disorder, although often benign, provokes in the affected patients an intenseadverse psychological reaction, sometimesinducing an immediate and severe crisis of anxie-ty and fear, so as to result highly disabling. It is necessary for these patients a correct and rapid diagnostic / therapeutic approach in order to make the most proper rehabilitative treatment, in fact, the patient returns to his/her serenity andself-confidence immediately after the resolution of the acute symptoms. this prevents inappropriate and expensive instrumental exams. This course is designed to provide ENT specialists and Neurologists with the most appropriate evaluating and treating approach to patients suffering from BPPV. This evidence-based course will train clinicians in the practical management of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. The course will include instruction in relevant anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, examination techniques, canalith repositioning maneuvers and management guidelines, including 13 hours of lectures with interactive discussions and practical live demonstrations.
