    Statutory care services

    Statutory services are services that are must be provided by the governmentfor the health and wellbeing of the population. These services must beprovided by local authorities as they are considered essential to thefunctioning of the population . Statutory services are state welfare benefits ,education settings , health care service providers such as GP's and dentists ,social care services such as social workers , residential homes and personalcare workers .

    Private care servies

    Private care services are services that are provided by other companies andnot organisations and services provided by the government . Private servicesmust be paid for by the service user and are not legally required to beprovided by the government , most of the services are provided like buisnessand to make a profit so that care given may be specialised to the needs andwants of the individuals instead of the standard care provided in statutorycare . Private care services may be nursing homes , private care companiessuch as BUPA or other private health care providers, some people may usecounsellors or therapists through private care as well .

    Voluntary care services

    These are not required to be provided or are set up by private companies byprovided by organisations that will get funding from different sources such asthrough fundrasising or donations from the public . Mainly this type careservices are through charities or with services provided churches or groupssuch as WI . Examples of these services are macmillan cancer support ,thebirtish red cross ,st john's ambulance .
