2.8 General information/additional comments on the PP-R system with glass fabric backing

Bonding properties

The pipes and fittings with fabric back have to meet meet at least one of the minimum required values of of the bond strength test below:

ASTM D 1781 Climbing drum peel test (Minimum requirement: 50 in.Lb/in)ASTM D 3846 Lap shear test (Minimum requirement: 1015 psi-7 N/mm2)DIN 53769 Shear test (Minimum requirement: 870 psi-5 N/mm2)BS 4994 B1 Peel test (Minimum requirement: 40 lb/in -7 N/mm)

Stub flanges; blind flanges and backing rings

These products are available on special order, they can be produced and offered in the range from32mm-600 mm.

The dimensions of the fittings are in accordance with the standard DIN 16867 / DIN 16966.Exact dimensions will be forwarded for each project in detail.For flanged joints according to ASME B 16.5 CLASS 15 collars, slip-on flangers and temporary jointsare available.


Fabric backing (knit structure)

The pipes and fittings are wound with glass fabric backing.

5.8 General information/additional comments on the PVDF system with glass fabric backing

Fabric backing (knit structure)

The pipes and fittings are wound with glass fabric backing.

Bonding properties

The pipes and fittings with fabric backing have to meet meet at laest one of the minimum required values of of the bond strength test below:

Climbing drum peel test (Minimum requirement: 50 in.Lb/in.) Lap shear test (Minimum requirement: 1015 psi-7 N/mm2) Shear test (Minimum requirement: 870 psi-5 N/mm2) Peel test (Minimum requirement: 40 lb/in -7 N/mm)

Stub flanges; blind flanges and backing rings

These products are available on special order, they can be produced and offered in the range from32mm-600 mm.

The dimensions of the fittings are in accordance with the standard DIN 16867 / DIN 16966.Exact dimensions will be forwarded for each project in detail.For flanged joints according to ASME B 16.5 CLASS 15 collars, slip-on flangers and temporary jointsare available.
