Large savings can be made by understanding how energy is used. Working closely with our clients has shown many are wasting energy, particularly overnight. With this in mind, taking a considered approach to energy management can result in savings of 10% can make quite a difference. Additional efficiency measures can increase these savings further.A computer and monitor left on 24 hours a day will cost around £45 a year, but switching them off out of hours and enabling standby features could reduce this to less than £10 a year. In an office of 100 computers, this equates to savings of more than £3,500 over a year.
