I am a pass ionate architect with a Master degree in Architecture & Bui lding Engineer ing and a Bachelor in Inter ior Des ign. Dur ing my studies I developed a part icular interest in bui lding technology and green bui lding design, which I combined in my Master ’s thes is renovation project .
As an intern I gained exper ience at studio I l Labir into. After complet ing my studies I was an ass is tant architect at studio L ib ia, where I special ized on bui lding s i tes and renovations.
I am accustomed to a fast-paced working environment and I am at ease in switching between projects and design teams. I l ike to keep an open approach during the design process , by draft ing mult ip le design alternat ives and choosing the r ight one. I am a team player but I am also able to work independent ly to trans late a design idea into a coherent and f inished result .
My graphic and detai l ing sk i l l s s tand out in my portfo l io . I have in depth knowledge of design programs l ike AutoCAD and Adobe Creat ive Suite – in part icular Photoshop, I l lustrator and InDesign. In addit ion, I have a good knowledge of 3d model l ing programs such as 3DStudioMax, Maya, and Rhinoceros5.
Nowadays, due to the cr i s i s and heavy burocracy, i t i s hard to grow profess ional ly in I ta ly. Instead of wait ing an opportunity in I ta ly, I decided to move abroad. My f i rs t aim was to improve my language sk i l l s . The innovative architecture and the Dutch way of l i fe convinced me to move to the Nether lands, sure to f ind a vibrant and exit ing environment.
Working in a mult icultural environment would be an excel lent opportunity for me to cooperate with col leagues shar ing different expert i se to further develop myself , both profess ional ly and personal ly. I am confident I can contr ibute to the team with my enthusiasm, my knowledge and competence in technical drawing and with my good sense of humour.

The architect Gemma Lupo attended a course taught by me during theaccademic year 2008/09 and sat for "Design Laboratory V" exam, whose theme was "The lsland" and she obtained the maximum marks, 30/30 cum laude. While teaching her i noted that she has excellent qualities in composition, a solid theoretical knowledge, a high originality in solving problems with own personal interpretation and'she is up to date about international debating.Thanks to the above mentioned skills, I think the architect Gemma Lupo can contribute significantly to design and research activities and projects in an important architectural firm
