The Student Choir is open to grades 6 - 12, no audition necessary. We meet on Sundays from 5:15 - 6:45 pm in the Worship Center. Join us for our spring semester starting January 10, 2021.

Hope. It is a word that means more this year than perhaps ever before in our lifetimes. Christmas inspires hope. After all, it is a time when the greatest Hope of all was born into our world. We often forget that for hope to exist, unfortunately there has to be hopelessness first. A perfect world wouldn’t have any need of hope. Thank God for a loving Savior! Deliverance arrives undeservedly and perhaps unexpectedly, just as in the unlikely way God came to earth to provide a once-and-for-all substitute for the sins of all people on the first Christmas.

We are going to celebrate that hope today through music, narration, and video. Over the many years of Hanging of the Green there are several traditions that have become special and meaningful. Our senior class will once again usher us into the Christmas season by placing the manger scene in the beautifully decorated and renovated sanctuary. You’ll hear both familiar and new music that inspires and challenges you. We’ll debut videos that share both a powerful story of hope and the voices of children reminiscing about the Christmas story. We will join together in Silent Night as we light candles together as a reminder that our real hope is in God’s promises and his amazing love for sinners.

Remember, hope motivates us; without it we die. Place your hope in a living Savior. God is at work!
