Question one: Would you watch the opening sequence after looking at the storyboard? 100% of the people asked said yes, they would watch the opening sequence after looking at the storyboard. This suggests that it is an interesting storyboard that appeals well to the target audience. Also it implies that the opening would inspire the viewer to watch the rest of the film. Therefore we didn’t need to make any changes to the storyboard based on the results from this survey question.

Question two: Do the edits allow continuity between the scenes?100% of the people who answered our survey agreed that the edits allowed continuity between the scenes of our storyboard. We used a variety of edits including quick cuts, shot reverse shot, dissolve, blur, tracking in and tracking out to create a smooth sequence with continuity between scenes. We asked people in our media class to complete the survey, because they are from our target audience and they would be aware of alternative editing techniques that could be used if the ones chosen would be ineffective. However everyone asked agreed that the edits were appropriate, so no changes needed to be made to the storyboard.

Question 4: Does the storyboard follow the psychological thriller genre?

100% Yes0% No

From our poll, we can see from our results that everyone decided that our storyboard follows the psychological thriller genre. We are glad that this is the result that came out of our poll as it makes us sure that we are on the right lines. We gained 5 poll votes on this question which was good and proves that we don’t need to change or edit our storyboard at this stage. This was the result we wanted and also the result that we would expect as we made sure our storyboard was of high quality before completion and we made sure we thought carefully over our whole plan.
